Hola a todos!!
YA TENGO MI VISAAAA!!!!! ESTAMOS FELICES MI NOVIO Y YO!!! WOW!!

We stayed at the Hotel Lucerna, one of the better hotels, within walking distance of the consulate. You can get a good rate if you book on the internet.
Basically, it took 3 days to receive the visa due to the consulate had not yet started processing the namechecks until we arrived. The consulate had informed both of us by phone to come to the consulate for the interview after our petition was approved again because we had already received the "fiancee packet" once before. (We were a recalled IMBRA case) My fiancee actually spoke to the people inside that informed us to come to the consulate and they asked if I was outside. We had plenty of evidence of all communications between us and the consulate, the NVC and the USCIS. There was also some confusion with the namechecks due to my fiancee's previous marriage.
The first day, the consulate decided to go forward with the interview anyway. My fiancee was given a 221G form after the interview was complete in ... read complete review

Our visa was denied (expected). We submitted a waiver the following day.

On our first interview 01/09/2006 we were issued a 221(g). The CO said we did not have enough proof of our relationship. We had pictures, phone bills, letters, bus tickets, airplane tickets, but it was not enough. We went back to the consulate a week later with more evidence but he would not accept it, he told us he did not want us to come back for 6 months. In late June we recieved our 2nd interview letter for 07/06/2006, my fiance was made to wait all day the CO did not even look at anymore evidence, my fiance was issued his visa at the end of the day. Finally!!!
