My Fiance entered the Consulate at 8:30 AM and did not get out until 5:30 PM. Interviewer was rude, stressed out, and couldn't find my Fiance's medical result which was in her packet. K-1 was issued!!!
Expect possibly a long day of waiting and prepare accordingly.

My fiance had no problems when he went for his interview. There were not a whole lot a people like he thought there were going to be. Everything went quickly and everyone was nice. He went back to turn in his waiver two weeks after his first interview. This time there were more people there but once again they were very nice.

The interview went great....different persons asked us some questions at different stages of the daytime stay at consulate queue system...last guy was really nice.... we were the LAST Approval to walk out of the consulate that day And I mean LITERALLY they were cleaning up the room we sat in to make room for a party they were having that evening lol.
Plan on spending a long day there.....

HOTEL:
He is staying at the Holiday Inn Express – about 1 kilometer from the Consulate. I think he meant to reserve at the Holiday Inn Lincoln which is closer, but oh well, the Holiday Inn Express is still very close (he says about a 7 minute walk from Consulate). I wish I could be there with him, but his mom flew to Juarez with him, so I’m glad that he is not alone.
MEDICAL EXAM:
6:50 a.m. He called a taxi and went with his mom to the clinic closest to the Consulate (50 pesos)
- He entered a waiting room with about 50 seats (not too full). When he registered, they asked for his passport and appointment letter received in the packet.
- They took his picture and electronic signature
- After about an hour, they called him and 4 other people to get their blood taken. No problems there; they barely left a mark.
- They sent him to the 2nd floor – another 5 minute wait and they called him and 3 other guys in for X rays;... read complete review
