Our theme was to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best (always a good philosophy in critical moments). I just wanted to post a brief summary of how quickly, or slowly, things went and when and how early to show up as well as a couple minor obstacles of which to be aware.
First off we extended our two day trip to a week as we had to reschedule the ASC and interview appointments due to a minor paperwork discrepancy which was 100% my fault. We kept the original medical exam date and arrived exactly 30 minutes early as is reccomended but didn't have the appointment letter (never recieved packet 3) so we went to the consulate window and they gave us a copy (I think this has happened to many people, just make sure you have your confirmation number with you). after going to the window my fiance's wait wasn't very long after getting back to the medical building a block away. It took about 5 minutes to get the appointment letter (after waiting an hour for the consu... read complete review

Hi everyone! Hope my review is helpful .
We started our process in July 2011 and finally finished jun, 12 2012
Ok so my finances cas interview was in jun 5 , 2012 here in the Guadalajara consulate , i honestly don't know why he had his appoinment here and not in cuidad Juarez like everyone else.
My fiancé arrived at cuidad Juarez on jun 10, which was a Sunday . I honestly can't recommend a hotel because my fiancé stayed with a family member who moved him around.
Jun,11 Monday
My fiancé had his medical exam . He arrived at the clinic at 4am and there was already 7 people ahead of him. Once let in side the clinic the take blood have a eye exam make you take a urine exam with someone watching over you. You are also put in a room where they tell you take everything off and just leave our underwear and socks on, after that the doctor leaves the room and tell you I need you to ow take everything off . Mi fiancé said that , that was the worse p... read complete review

Sorry for the long wait to write this review.
My fiance and I meet almost 3 years ago. We became engaged in May 2011. Started this process in June 2011 when my fiance was caught by the Indio, CA police in which they called Immigration. Of course they deported him and he left voluntary. He returned home in Puebla, Mexico. We live in Coachella, Ca.
It took forever to get the ball rolling in our case. I even had to get my Congresswoman involved to get the Packet 1 approved. (Thank you to all that suggested to do this).
He had his 1st interview March 22, 2012. I have been working with a non-profit office that we have here in Palm Springs to do everything. They are ok but got alot of information on this site to push my case through with them.
During my finance's departure we have been visiting every 3 months in Mexicali, Mexico were my Grandmother lives. I meet him there a few days before his interview and to have the office final... read complete review

We arrived in Juarez on Sunday, April 15th. Our consulate interview was scheduled for Tuesday April 17th. Some people on visajourney had expressed that they didnt think one day was enough time to complete the medical and get the results. For someone having all of their documents together one day early is more than enough time. We however, did not receive the appointment letter and had to get a copy of it from the consulate information center. We were having a hard time monday morning because there are a lot of people in the streets who will try to get you to go with them. They will ask you what you are looking for or which visa you have applied fpr.... if you can avoid getting into a conversation with these people, do it. They are trying to \"consult\" you and in turn expect you to pay them. They have no information that you need, they just want to talk and try to get you into their offices. I had a hard time getting my fiance to ignore them because he thought they were just trying to ... read complete review
