My travel started on Thursday August the 23rd, arrived to Juarez and stayed with relatives, I was taken to the Clinic on Friday the 24th. (we arrived at 5 30 am) somebody on the street told me I needed to go across the street and have my papers checked, I knew already that was a trick, I declined and went forward to the clinic, had requested prices and info over the phone but ended going to the other clinic, it was open already, went in through a metal detector and check of my papers: appointment, passport and invitation letter, they checked my bag and we went in, me and my kid. Went to this huge waiting room, where they checked the papers and gave me a #, took our pictures and given a paper bracelet with a bar code and sent us to wait in another set of chairs, few minutes later my number was called, was asked if I was alone with my kid, they said no blood test on kids so they can and should eat something. Our journey started May 17 2012, we took a bus from Zacatecas at 6 am to Guadalajara and arrived to GDL/Bus Station at 12:30 PM, at 4:55 PM we took another bus to GDL Airport, our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:30 via VivaAerobus but it was delayed til a little after 10:30PM. We arrived around 11PM to Ciudad Juarez, paid the taxi around $270 MXN = $20 USD to take us to the Best Western Ciudad Juarez.
Before getting to the Best Western Ciudad Juarez I was worried since I had paid $365 for 9 nights it included taxes and breakfast buffet. The front people are very very nice, the rooms are exactly as the internet very nice rooms with wifi and clean sheets. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS GOOD!!! different food everyday they cook good meals one day they had Barbacoa, they also make eggs to your taste. My wife performed the Biometrics in Mexico City on August 2nd. That process went very fast, we only had one issue with the website not allowing us to schedule the appointment so I had to call to schedule.
My wife and I arrived in Juarez on Saturday and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. We chose this hotel since we were able to use points for our stay.
Since the visa appt was Tuesday, we went to clinic for the Medical Exam at 5 AM on Monday (went to the white clinic building as recommended by the Hotel). When we got there they let us right in. I was expecting to wait outside a bit till they started but since they were starting so early I went back to the Hotel to wait. My wife said they started the exam well before 6 AM, and she had to remove all clothes for the exam, she even asked for clarification as we thought she would keep underwear on. I just got back from juarez and THANK GOD MY VISA WAS APPROVED =) =) =) =) =) here goes my review and i hope it helps you guys out:
I checked in at La Quinta Inn hotel(the staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel is secure and clean, room for 48 dollars a night which includes king size bed, microwave, fridge, desk with leather chair, cable tv, great ac) and its about 15 mins walking from the consulate and 2 mins driving there. The hotel also provides a shuttle to the consulate,clinic, and ASC center ever half hour from 6 am to 2 pm.
I arrived to juarez on monday and had my ASC scheduled for tuesday at 2 30 pm. At 6 am tuesday morning i headed over to the Clinic Medica International and there was already a line there but not too long. You first go to the receptionist and she checks your documents(YOU MUST HAVE PASSPORT, ASC CONFIRMATION PAGE, AND THE CONSULATE LETTER) then you go over to a window where they take down your information and give you a bracele... read complete review

Stayed at the IBIS Consulado, very nice clean friendly and very very very close to everything THE CONSULATE IS BEHIND US
We did the ASC in Merida to save time in Juarez, plus we heard that if you have tatoos you will undero a Pschy Eval and your results wont be in untill tomorrow at 10:00 AM luckly this did not happen
She showed up at the Clinica Internacional @ 5:15 AM and it was full so they sent her to the other clinic called Clinica Servicios Medicos, she was in by 5:30 AM they ask for her papers they pass you to take a picture and place you a bracelet in your hand and by 6:00 AM they called her up to a window to fill out some paperwork (name, birthday, address in the USA) turn that in.
After she is sent to a waiting room for the X-RAYs, then they draw blood, followed by the physical which consist of measurements, weight and eye check.
