The experience with consulate personnel was very nice. They were attentive and friendly. The CAS personnel is very nice and patient. Security personnel are very understanding and patient too.
Thursday We arrived 1 hour before the biometrics and they let us in as there was no line.
Tuesday We arrived 1/2 hour before the first meeting and the line started to move almost immediately. Most of the time inside was waiting for like 2hrs. Family can wait in the medical clinics next door if you want.
Wednesday embassy closed

Medical can take 2 days as you will have to await your package until the following day. We possibly would have had to come to Juarex the previous Thursday or Friday, spend the weekend.. Juarez was 100 degrees hot, squalid and there really wasn't much to do there besides enjoy the hotels AC. Imagine being in Iraq or Afghanistan. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott walking distance to the consulate which we highly recommend. They have an airport shuttle and t... read complete review
