The medical exam at Médico de Visas was excellent since they treated my fiancee with the upmost respect and it only took 20 mins. The same could be said for the process at the ASC. The day of the exam went very well also. We had everything ready so the process went smoothly and the staff was courteoues. A young American man performed the Ãnterview. Questions he asked were: how did we meet? Divorced or single? Have you been to the u.s. before? Was it as a minor? Where did you visit? Have you been denied a visa before? Have you committed a crime before in us or Mexico? Do you have tatoos? That was the jist of everything. My fiancee says the staff and C.O. were very respectful and displayed professionalism throughout the entire visit. ;-)

It took 6 months to obtain the k1 visa, it would of been shorter but some things got a little bit complicated. So it's very important to have everything ready and planned out so it can go by as fast and smooth as possible. My fiane's interview was short, simple and easy. He got there an hour early, of course he had to wait since his appointment was at 7:15 am, once they called him in he gave every paper they asked him to give, answered a few simple questions and he was done. It lasted about 5-7 minutes, once he got out I received a call from him with great news! So from our experience the interview was easy. It all depends on who you get, either way the number one thing on the list; take as much evidence as possible, take every single paper on the list. They might not ask for it, but it's better to have everything there to be missing stuff. Our journey has ended, we are more than happy and we hope everyone who's going through the same journey has a happy ending. Always be patient, it'... read complete review

We arrived on a Tuesday on a flight from Mexico City to Juarez and checked into the Holiday Inn Express. It is right next door to a great Mexican restaurant Barrigas. Wednesday was my wife's medical exam at Medico De Visas. You can walk there but a van will pick you up. We were in and out in about 2 hours total, her exam was $190 and she required all vaccinations which was an additional $160. Thursday, we walked 8 minutes to the ASC which was 3 minutes past the Consular office. The ASC is a little hard to find but just ask someone where is the OXXO. It is a convenience store directly next door. She was in and out in about 20 minutes. Friday, the interview. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time of interview at the Consular office. My wife entered by herself while I waited outside, directly next door, there is many tables and chairs there. It took her a total of an hour an a half when she entered until when she exited. They asked her simple questions like; where and how di... read complete review
