My husband petitioned me for an immigrant visa (US Permanent Residence).
So here's a brief summary of my experience at the US consulate, medical and bio-metrics in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.
We traveled to Cd. Juarez by car through Mexico, we arrived on a Thursday (Feb. 22, 2018), we stayed at the City Express Ciudad Juarez which is 10 minutes driving distance to the US consulate.
On Friday (Feb. 23, 2018) I had an appointment at 10am for my medical at the Clinica Medica Internacional, (which is right next to the consulate).

I would advise to check the temperature of your interview date/week. Because I just went in march and it was SO COLD in the morning, windy and freezing in general. But once the sun was out it burned and there is no shade.
My husband went in 8:10 and was out by 10:25.
My husband thinks it was a good experience as well. People were kind and the system was efficient.
The interview is not private, there are around 8 officers who ... read complete review
