Well, I learned if 'original' document is requested by the embassy, this does not include photocopies. So I will visit my court house tomorrow for the original divorce document and send to the embassy in Kazakhstan via DHL. Otherwise, my fiancée was pleased that the embassy officer said all is good once they receive originals.

Most time i just nervoused and stressed a lot, becAuse waiting is always kill. There were only one fiancee and me, wife. When my line came, i was worried if i have enough evidence besides original documents of me and hubby. When i sat down in front of council i saw all petitions were in his hands. He asked to sign 2 papers which unfortunately i didn't read 'cuz i was sooo excited then asked a few personal questions about my husband. Totally interview went smoothly. If you know your fiancee/spouse well there's nothing to worry about.

The Almaty Consulate was very professional. The interview went smoothly and we collected the visa on Thursday afternoon.

The interview went well. The people at the consulate are very nice and polite!The consular officer did not ask many questions. The interview was about 5-7 min. We didn't submit some necessary documents, so i was asked to email them. We did that next day, and in one week they approved our visa!

My fiancee' had a very pleasant experience at the US Consulate in Almaty, Kazakhstan. They were very friendly and helpful. She was approved and picked up her (and the kids) Visas a few days later. In one week they arrived in the United States to start our family! javascript:emoticon('')
