~2 hour wait after document submission followed by interview of less than 5 minutes. Two or three questions of 'how did you meet your spouse', 'what does he do', and done!

The interviewer asked me 9 questions:
How did you guys meet?
When did you guys actually meet in person and where was it?
When did you guys start dating?
When did you guys decide to get married?
Why did you guys get married in Japan?
Why do you like him?
Do you have a plan to work in the US?
Have you gotten divorced?
Do you have any children?

The process was fairly straightforward. Appointment was at 8:30am, did not finish until 12:30pm. This is due to there only being two windows open. They ask you not to come earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment, so everyone comes at the same time. The interview itself was 3 minutes. Asked a few questions about how we met, etc. and it was over.
