My husband arrived at the Embassy Friday May 25th 2012 at like 5:30 am. He waited several hours to be seen, but once he was, the IO only talked to him briefly and very casually. They only asked to see a few photos of us together. They were in their talking and laughing and just shooting the breeze, and then he was approved. The IO returned the birth certificate that I sent of mine and our daughter who was born July 2011!! They did not ask for all the stuff that we went crazy trying to gather together to prepare for this day. Nor did they ask any of the questions that we tried hard to prepare for. Now awaiting the arrival of his visa so that he can make Next Friday 6/8's flight!!!!!

Hello everyone,my husband arrived at the Kingson Embassy around six that morning eager and wanted to make sure he didnt get caught in the traffic. Since he arrived so early he sat a restaurant across the street and ate some food as he waited to go inside, he than saw folks lining up so he decided to go get in line at 7:15 for his eight on clock appoinment time despite the fact I told him to wait 15 minutes b4 eight lol. He was then asked to put his bag thru the scanner and to take off his belt, after passing thru the next door he was then to fix himself back together.Once inside he was told to sit on the first or second row and waited for his row to b called. Oncehis row eas called he was thsn asked for his passport and was given a yellow slip to write his pjone number and passport number on it. He was then given #129 & sat down praying, waiting and listening to other interviews. He stated that it was a lady beside him laughing at the interviews she heard which made him nervous so he ... read complete review

So, I arrived to the embassy a little after 7am for my 8 am appointment. The lady outside took the DS 156,156K,157 and stapled my visa fee receipts to a set and passport size photos to each set of forms.I went through security and into the courtyard where I sat down until they told a row of people to go in. I went in and they were two other persons checking the same documents and they gave me a yellow slip to fill in passport number for the courier purpose. They gave me a number A121, and said I must sit to the right (Immigrant visa section), The seats were almost all full but I got one. They started calling people to submit documents at window 5 and 6.When it came to my number I went to counter 5 and submit my documents. I did finger prints and the lady asked if it was the first marriage for both of us (Yes), if I had ever been to the US before or outside of the country (No for both). She organise the documents and told me to listen for my name or look out for my number. I went to sit... read complete review
