Our appointment was at 9am on 12/14/12. We were in and out before noon which was great!! I will just cut to the details here.
He was asked:
When and where did we meet?
Who was I with the first time we met?
How often do we communicate?
Have we met each others families?
Where do I stay when I visit Jamaica?
When and how often do I visit?
Where does he work and what was his occupation?
Does he have pictures?
The only evidence they asked for was pictures. I made a photo album that he showed them.
He said it was more like a conversation than an interview.
The reason that I gave a lower rating was because of what happened after the interview.
During the interview he was told that he would receive his visa the following week...
1st email was 12/20. DHL website stated the visa had been shipped.
Their reply was that it was out of their hands and I had to deal with... read complete review

Marlon was at the embassy at 8:30am for his 9:30 appointment. Hw went right in after they took some paperwork and staples the pictures to that. He went through security and was directed to take a number and sit down. He was then called up and got pingerprinted and filled out some forms. Then he sat back down for about an hour and a half. He was then called to another window where he had a lady ask him the following questions:
-How did you meet?
-who proposed marriage, you or her?
-how did you propose?
-how do you communicate? when he said over the phone she asked to see the phone records
-what is her phone number?
-write out her name
-what are your wedding plans? when he said in Las Vegas, she asked why there? why not Jamaica? He said because we have to get married in USA (trick question I guess LOL)
-do you have pictures? he gave her our engagement pictures album. she looked at it and said Ok go pay the DHL fee. YAAAA... read complete review

We arrived at the U.S embassy in Kingston Jamaica at 8:00 am. We waited on line for about 15 minutes then we went through the medal detectors. Once we were inside I had to wait in the courtyard while my husband went behind the glass doors. At approximately 9:30 am My husband came out looking for the window to pay the DHL fee!!! I was so surprised that everything went so fast. They asked him only 4 questions.
How did we meet?
If he has ever been to the United States?
If he has ever been outside Jamaica?
Where was I born?
After the interviewer asked for phone records and photos. He looked at every single picture carefully (27 in all). He did ask my husband how far back the phone records were from ( my husband said honestly I don't know because my wife printed them). The records were for just 2012.
The actual part were they interviewed him barely took 5 minutes. We paid the fee and advised DHl that we would like to pick up the p... read complete review
