Review Topic: F-2A Visa

I was interviewed on February 11, 2013 and was ask to have a sponsor submit AOS which was couriered directly to the embassy. On March 22, 2013, I received a call and was ask to visit the embassy on March 25, 2013 with my passport. I arrived early and went through the usual screening. On reaching inside I sat down for approximately 25 minutes after which it became my turn to approach the window. I said "Good Afternoon" and immediately I slipped my passport underneath the glass of the window. After a few minutes on the computer, the consulate gave a DHL confirmation sheet and attach is a green card with a 5 digit number. She then instructed me to go online, follow the instructions on the sheet to register to make arrangements to have my passport and packet delivered to me. She also instructed me not to make any arrangements before I receive my passport and packet. I have followed all the instructions and I have visited the website to follow up on the delivery of my packet. Does ... read complete review

I was approved on March 25, 2013 and was asked to go online and register to make arrangements to have DHL deliver my passport and packet. I have visited the website almost everyday but I keep seeing,"There is no information on this Way Bill at this time". Can anyone say what is the timeline for waiting, if there is any and if it is appropriate to send an email to the embassy.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I with my 2 kids & stepdaughter arrived for our interview on March 28 at 6:45 am for our 7:30 am appointment. It went smoothly, we went thru security and was told to go inside the immigrant section and have a seat. After 1 hour we were called where we submitted our medical and asked a few questions like who is filing for us and where does he work and if we had ever travelled before. They took our fingerprints except my 7 yr old daughter. We were told to return to our seats and wait on our names to be called, which we did.

Inside was full so we were told to sit on the outside until they were ready for us. We were called after an hour or so. The Consul officer swore me in and then asked the following questions:

Did your husband get married to migrate to the US?
How often do you see him?
Have you ever travelled to any other country and for how long?
Have you any pictures of your wedding? I did.

He then asked my daughter whe... read complete review
