My husband's appointment was scheduled for 0730. He arrived 5 minutes late due to traffic/taxis. He was let right in, said his fingerprints were taken, then his medical, then they asked him where I work, where I live, when we met and what he likes most about me. The man was nice and smiled and said approved! I was expecting a long process (kind of like the medical - all day!) but he was only inside for 3 hours. So excited to be done with this process and have my hubby home!!!!

They asked for the appointment letter , passport , id and proof of passport pictures. I went with my fiance. Thank God i brought my Id with me. We went through security.
Next we met with a police they asked for our appt letter, she crossed off our name. We went into a building. We gave them the appt letter , they stapled number A137 to our form and asked to go sit in section a.

Thank God,
Me and my husband has been going through this immigration process since 2013. My husband had his 3rd interview in Kingston yesterday which they made him repay the visa application fee a second time which this time fees are higher, but all went well he swore under oath in front of an officer and was finally approved after 3 medicals 2 police records and 3rd interview. This process will definitely tear a family apart.. Some are very easy officers but sometimes you can come across that 1 that will give you a hard time. I wouldn't wish this process on my worst enemy.
