My husband's interview was on 19 May 2016 at 8:30AM and he arrived at the Embassy by 7:45AM he stated that the wait was not long as soon as they informed that it was his time. He was back home to call me by 12:03PM and let me know that we had been APPROVED!! What a great feeling it was to hear those words come from his very mouth. Generally, the questions was basic: what are my children's names, my name, address that he will be residing, and how did his parent's feel about he marrying an older woman? They didn't take any of the 2016 tax transcript information nor looked at any of the pictures that he took to the interview. He said that it was a very smooth process and I am glad we are over that hurdle.

My husband's interview was at 8:30 a.m. on May 9th I waited outside with him I was allowed to interview with him with a young man. Overall the process was standard common question ...have you ever been arrested where did your wedding take place who is sponsoring you what were your colors in your wedding we had one hiccup which was a birth certificate on a form that was no longer used ....although it had a raised seal on it. another note these interviews are held in front of several people oftentimes the speakers in booths are up loud and personal information is no longer private I'm just glad this is over my husband should join me in the next 3 weeks

I attended the interview with my husband at the Jamaican Embassy on 12 April. He was approved. Pretty straight forward interview. Checked the ceac website today and it says your visa was printed and issued. Thought that was pretty quick. Questions asked: How did we meet? Why did we get married at RGB? How old are his children? Are you nervous about moving? The CO asked both of us questions and it really was like a regular conversation. They did forget to obtain the original police certificate, and I asked did they need the original, he said yes and took it. I also asked were they going to keep the original marriage license and birth certificate and he stamped a copy that was in the file and gave us back the original. I also asked if they wanted the updated I-864 documents for 2015 and he said no. So the big file I brought with relationship information was not needed, but glad I had it just in case. The only problem we had, was when we entered and I had a chap stick in my purse and I ha... read complete review

My husband said that everything went good. There were two interviews, one lasted abut three minutes and the second around five minutes.
