Every one at the Embassy in Kingston was EXTREMELY helpful!
Im so grateful for all of them.ðŸ‘
They appreciate it when you email them about questions, and they respond super fast. All the staff are extremely helpful and kind.
My fiance and I have had a great experience during the whole process.
The interview was smooth and my fiance was only asked 5 questions. They didnt even ask for income and proof of relationship (still bring it just in case).
His medical was after the Embassy interview, but he was still approved on the spot. They just didnt mail out the visa until after the medical examination.
The visa took about 4 days after the medical to get to DHL for pick up.
Great experience

My interview was on the 3rd. 8:30 appointment.
I arrived on time. We were told to line up outside while they checked our documents (IL, passports and photos are to be presented.
Inside we go thru security clearance. An as per usual no prohibited stuff as y'all know. I had to make contact afterwards so i went prepared to pay the $500. For them to keep my phone
Inside er, immediately outside the embassy we are
given a number and and wait for it to be called. It took
about 30 mins to be called into the embassy then more waiting

My husband's interview was at 7:00. He was there until about 12:00. After he went through the formalities of the paperwork to get in and the fingerprints, he was told to have a seat and wait for his name to be called. He had a male consular officer. And these are the questions he was asked:
Who's filing for you?
If I have any children?
How old is my daughter?
How many times have I come to Jamaica?
How we met?
He asked for pictures of me and husband
He showed my husband pics that I sent with the petition and asked him who were the people in them. (Some were me with his family and a few of one of my friends who visited once with me with his family)
He had my husband sign a selective service registration form. He kept a copy and gave my husband a copy and told him to mail it in when he comes over.
He told my husband to make sure he's registered for DHL and once they receive the medical, it may take 1-... read complete review
