Husband was denied because he admitted using weed in his 20s. They banned him for 2 yrs because of a freaking statement. So you tell the truth and have to suffer. Is there anything goes we can do to fight this. Somebody please help us. I am heartbroken!

My fiancée went on his interview today, in which case, we both still unsure if he was approved or denied. They said they were still missing his medicals in which he completed on 12/23. They did keep his passport.
They asked him how did we meet.
How many times has he traveled to me.
How many times have I traveled to see him.
And when did he propose.. ( he is embarrassed to say that I proposed lol, so he didn't even know how to answer the question and said 13 months into the relationship) the consulate kept asking him so about what month.
They also asked him about our wedding (and he explained to him that we will only get married though the courts and have the wedding celebration on July 2018 in Jamaica (where we met)

My finance had his medical done on November 17 and his interview on December 5. He arrived at his appointed time, 8am and was out by 12 noon. He handed his papers off to one representative and was advised to wait. His actual interview went rather quick and he was only asked a few questions about my kids, what type of work I do and what I like to do. His response to what I liked to do was "couponing" in which the representative asked him to explain exactly what couponing entails. The representative told him he was approved and should receive his VISA in a week (by Dec 12). We checked the site religiously and The Visa did not come in a week, instead the status was updated to "Administrative Processing ". We feared he wouldn't have the visa by 12/22 which was his departure date for him to come to US; but on the morning of 12/20 we received an email stating his visa can be picked up from DHL.

Interview went well .approval pending medical report.I was ask a few questions. How we met?where was he born?where will we get married.who he lives with.howm many kids he have.was he married before. Have we decide on my wedding dress.do I have kids.and then she said remember to get your minor daughter up within a year .then she said have you register with dhl and I said yes I did when I was paying the visa fee.it was quite easy it was more like a friendly convo.lastly she said your medical not here yet so we can't do anything till it reach and everything looks good and have a nice life and I said I said thank you very much.not to worry guys jus be confident and pray that God sen you to the right CO.
