We got approved yesterday and it was a very smooth ride. Thanks to "god" and to my vj family for keeping us in their prayer. I was afraid my fiance will give incorrect answer because he was too confident. I was very nervous about this whole interview thing. I want to share my fiance's experience with you all and hope this will help ease your anxiety a bit.

These are the questions that were asked to my fiance.

How did you meet?
When did you meet?
Who was at the engagement ceremony?
Why were your fiancee's parents not in the engagement ceremony?
Looking at our trips picture, CO asked if this was me.
Where did you fiancee go to school?
Where did she go to college?
How much is your fiancee's annual income?
How much time did you spend together?
Where did you go for trips?
What do your fiancee do for living?
How many times did you and your fiancee meet?

Tips: Don't worr... read complete review

First the submitted documents were verified by an Indian Male official at the consulate. The questions asked to my fiancee by him are :

Do you have any children?
Do your fiance have children?
What is her age?
Have you traveled out of India any time ?
Asked some additional photos on engagement

Then an American consular officer interviewed her. Her questions are:

Tell some thing about him
What is the reason for your divorce ?
What type of function is this( looking at the engagement photos)
What is he doing in America?
In which part he lives?
Why you get married in America?
When and what type of marriage you are going to have at America?
Dose your fiance visit his daughter often?

See Packet 3 experience: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=222888

After getting the interview letter and Packet 4 information from the Mumbai Consulate without any problems for our K-1 visa, the journey to completing PCC was a little bit harder.

We did not use an agent because many were on holiday and told us they didn't go to the Passport offices to do much work during Diwali time (which is when we were in the process of the PCC). This caused many, many, many trips for my fiancee to the Commissioners and Passport offices in Surat, but in the end all her hard work paid off and she got it completed in 3 weeks. From what I have read and messaged others about, you can use your NOA2 letter to get the PCC process started if you use an agent, so that is another option if you don't want to wait for the interview date letter and do a lot of the running around yourself.... read complete review
