My interview was on 21st july at 9:00 AM. It was quick and smooth.
Below is the list of questions CO asked me.
1. Who's calling you?
2. Where does he stay?
3. Where does he work?
4. Tell me about your relationship. .... how did you meet.
5. What are your wedding plans?
6. When do you plan on leaving for the US
that's about it.
I wasn't asked to show any proof of relationship.

My wife's interview was at 7:30 am we arrived at 7 and it was already packed. The security guy comes and orders two lines one for 7:30 am and another for the 8am interviews. Once inside they collected our documents and asked fee basic questions like when she got married and who is calling her. As for the interview itself, it was quick and painless a friendly CO greeted her and asked few basic questions like; What is your husband doing in U.S, who he stays with, what his parents do for a living. All while nodding and typing away on a computer. She had soo many photos and call logs and travel itenararies as proof, none of which they asked to see. It almost seemed like the decision was made prior to the interview even starting. After interview the CO told her she was approved and her visa will be ready in a week. But we got an email the very next day at evening saying the visa was ready for pickup. So we received the visa just 2 days after interview. Overall good experience. Only complain... read complete review

Hello guys,
I got the visa approval and below is my story:
Biometrics and photographs:
At Mumbai Consulate, we need to have an additional appointment before interview for fingerpriting and biometrics. I went to the Visa Application Center for the same just a day before my visa interview. Appointment was on 11:30 am and I reached there by 10:45. There was a different line for every half an hour slot, so I stood in the 11:30 slot. I was admitted at 11:15 inside the center. First security check-they didn't allow mobile phones, any schoolbags or any kind of office bags. Only your document folder is allowed optionally with an plastic carry bag. When I went inside I was asked for DS-260, Passport, Interview Letter and 2 photographs. They issued a token and I stood for my turn. The local officer brought me to one of the counters; they took fingerprints of 8 fingers and 2 thumbs, took photographs, and I was told to go. That's it for fingerprinting appointme... read complete review

I had my K-1 visa interview on the 10th of July 2015 and here is my review. It is pretty detailed for all those who wish to know all the details
Biometric - Happened at a building called Trade Center which is like a minute away from the Consulate Building. I had an appointment for 11 am and we reached there at around 10.15 am. My appointment was still 45 minutes away but they let me in in-spite of me telling the guard that it is at 11 am (later when I came out my dad, who was waiting outside for me, told me they kept other 11 am appointment people waiting outside but let me in. Oh lucky me!). The biometric thing only needs you to carry your passport, DS-160 confirmation page and a print of your appointment letter. DO NOT carry any additional paperwork to the biometric. Once you are inside they take your fingerprints and a photo. It all took like less than 5 minutes with 10 minutes of waiting outside the building in a queue.
DO NOT forget to carry the DS-160 confi... read complete review
