Interview was smooth except waiting for about three hours.
They first called the persons who needs the translators. Then they called group who has more than one. Please don't worry when you are waiting outside when it delays.
Questions asked:
1. Describe how you met your spouse and how it went all the way to marriage
2. What is your and husbands profession.
3. Tax returns. I have given the joint sponsors. Then he asked, he needs from the petitioner. I did mention that the petitioner started work only this year just few months back. I have given him the employment letter.
4. Then he took the Petitioner employment letter original and police clearance certificate originals.
Then he said approved. Gave a small paper showing that visa approved.
Did not ask photos and any other documents.

I will not repeat the documents and process as it has been repeated many times, however I will briefly write about our experience. Several posts say they will not allow the "sponsor/petitioner/Husband/wife/us citizen" to go in with the beneficiary. Every Consulate and case and day is a different story, however I can confirm that when we attended I (US Citizen) was permitted to be by my husband's sided all the way up to the last interview. Our documents were all organized and categorized, and he carried 4 LARGE plastic see-through folders full of hundreds of pages and pictures. When his number was called for the last interview, I walked directly up to the window. The interviewer looked up startled and asked "Who are you?" I answered that I am the petitioner and wife of Wasim, and I have traveled here to finally bring him home to be a family after a long wait (and smiled). He told me to please sit down and he would call me up if he had any questions directed at me. I did so. So... read complete review

Same-Sex couple - K1 Visa
The process was quite tedious. The ques were really long but they vanished in no time!
it was the monsoons so most of us in the que with no one ese with us, were completely drenched! the other handed over their umbrellas to the ones who accompanied them.
My interview time was at 9:30 AM. came to the venue 30 mins in advance and by 12:00pm my interview was complete.
there were two stages to the interview for K1 visa. First with an obnoxious Indian woman who is rude and vulgar and unapologetic!
Next with a really sweet American man who was the exact opposite of the Indian woman.
The experience with the American Officer deserves 5 stars.

Everything was pretty straight forward. I actually flew in and (plus have fun) attended the interview with my fiance. I will not repeat the whole entering and waiting process, as its been said multple times.
At the first window I was asked where I worked. I answered and stood with him. When he was called for the actual interview the CO just asked me how we met and then said I could sit down it shouldn't take long. I could hear some of the questionstreet being asked nerves aside the questions were pretty straight forward and not out of the ordinary.
Visa approved!
As a side note I did meet an awesome young lady while he was interviewing.
One suggestion I would make for the process over all is, Transparency. Lots of it. These decisions and processes tell d to affect more than one person's life. Our life was hanging in the balance and to have no status updates or correct updates is nerve racking and unnecessary. Your basically blind and depend... read complete review

My PD 3rd March 2014.
Interview completed at Mumbai Embassy on 26th Oct 2015.
Interview Result: Approved
My experience:
1. Even though I reached on time, it takes about 4 hours (almost waiting) to complete interview process.
2. There is no space to wait for any person accompanying with you at all. Not even in the vicinity of embassy. No place to stand or wait!!!
3. Some interview questions:
a. How did you meet your husband?
b. What is he doing?
c. How did he go to USA and got his green card?
d. What are you doing? Where do you stay?
e. How many times have your husband travelled from USA to meet you after wedding?
f. Did you go for honeymoon?
g. They asked for W2 (eventhough it was already submitted).
and couple more...
Finally they... read complete review
