Arrived early by hour to office.
Immediately they allow us to enter.
security done in 10 15 min,
arrived in main hall.
issued us separate token for all members
checked all documents, specially birth certificate, marriage certificate, passport, support of affidavit, petitioner documents etc.
One most important thing submit latest support of affidavit , one original copy, they check sign and date written by petitioner. scan copy or xerox is not acceptable. take xerox copy of all other family member and original for main applicant.
questions are very easy , address of petitioner, what is relation, frequency of meeting, previous us travel , last travel of petitioner, photographs for proof or relation, etc.....
total interview time is 10 minutes and they approved visa,
it is very easy and simple ..........

Husband arrived at the US Consulate in New Delhi thirty minutes prior to his interview appointment for 0830. He was allowed entry at 0815 and turned in his documents for checking. They said "please verify that your wedding date is December 22, 2015" and he said no it isn't it is actually December 25, 2015. They said very good and gave him a token and ushered him to the waiting area. He was waiting until about 1145, at which point they called him to a window for his official CR-1 visa interview. The women interviewing was American and asked questions only pertaining to how we met and about our mutual friend that introduced us. She asked detailed questions regarding my parents relationship with the said mutual friend and his relationship with the mutual friend and her affiliations with India. She inquired about who attended our wedding in India from my family. Overall the actual interview was only 5-10 minutes at which point the interviewer asked my husband when he would like to see his ... read complete review

We arrived around 6:30am, and interview was scheduled at 7:30am. They let us in around 7:15am. Employees took us on back and we formed a line to submit documents. Once we submitted documents we sat back down, and waited to be called for interview. The interview was held in the same room where the documents were submitted. Although they called us to the farther lines between 10-16. The consular officer was more interested about our marriage then requesting financial documents. She asked my husband many questions, regarding how we met, who attended wedding, if his parents accepted me as we are from different cultures etc. Towards the end she seemed very convinced and informed us that the visa was approved. She requested us to show her pictures of wedding, and other family gatherings.

My wife attended the interview in New Delhi and the following questions were asked:
- Was this an arranged/love marriage? (Was asked to elaborate on how it happened)
- What was the longest time you spent in the US? (My wife had a B1/B2 visa and had visited me 3 times while our case was pending)
- When was the last time you saw your husband?
Visa Approved!!!!!
It took her 4 hours from when she entered the consulate to when she came out. She mentioned that one of the reasons for such a long wait was because senior citizens were given a priority for the interviews.
