Hello guys,
I want to share experince of K1 visa interview at Mumbai, India.
Appointment was at 8:30 but she went there at 7:30AM and they let her in.
They asked her for her appointment letter and went through security check.
They asked her for DS156K, 134, etc...
During the interview they asked her following questions:
- What does he do?
- Where does he work?
- What is his job title?
- What do you like about him?
- When she said something about my beliefs -- What kind of beliefs?
- What will you do when you go there?
- What kind of food does he like to eat?
- When she said punjabi... is punjabi veg or non veg?
- IL state is very cold... will you be able to live there?
- They asked her to see the engagement album/pics.
Thats about it. The CO was very nice and he said that you are approved.
They did not ask for any other evidence. ... read complete review

My fiancee said she had a reasonable interview. She was asked a few straightforward questions - is this first marriage etc. From all the
evidence of relationship she took with her, they just asked to look at the engagement photos.
She went into the Consulate before her appointment time of 10am and got out
only around 3:30pm. They let her go out for lunch.
They said her visa was approved and that they will be mailing back the passport
within a week. This was great news after a 7 month wait.

The officer was pre-determined to deny us and did not even have her facts right... was doubting our relationship based on fictional information or information that was perhaps confused with someone elses case. When politely offered the correct information and attempted to bring her attention to the actual information on our case the officer got increasingly rude and arrogant and avoided any eye contact or even looking out of the window. After a few mins of typing and getting annoyed at the computer my wife (then fiancee) was handed a denial letter asking for;
1) Further evidence of relationship, when she did not even looked at any evidence brought to the interview. My wife offered the bags full of photo albums, letters, etc etc evidence, the officer rudely ignored and told my wife to submit the evidence with the letter.
2) Explaination as to why the relationship was started prior to fiance's divorce... when no such question was asked during the interview... read complete review

Here is the detailed info about my husband's interview at Bombay Embassy
His interview was at 8:30am On March 23rd, 2006, he was there around 8 am. When he entered, they took his appointment letter. They kept pilling up letters on top of his papers.. So, this is something to watch out... He kept waiting waiting and waiting. Finally, at around 11:30 or so, one lady called him for Document verification. That lady briefly looked at the documents, and asked him to wait until his number is called. Finally, at 12:15 or 12:20pm, his number was called, so he went to the CO. The CO checked the papers, and asked him few question. Interview was for about 5 - 6 minutes.
When did you meet your wife.
How often do you talk to your wife?
When my husband metioned daily chats through Messanger, CO, then asked which messanger we used.
CO asked for some wedding pics.. My husband show him few pics.
CO, asked how many people attended the wedding? so... read complete review
