All went well at the embassy except that I was the last person attended to due to the fact that my original interview date was changed as my it fell on a holiday

I arrived at the embassy @ 6:50am. By 7:30am we started forming 2 queues at the entrance of the embassy. One queue was for non-immigrant and the other for immigrant visas like the K1. BY 8:00am we were all seated inside the embassy @ the consulate section.

As I initially said, they had to attend to those who originally had their appointment today before attending to those of us whom our interview date fell on the holiday and was scheduled for today.

I was finally called @ 11:45 to present all documents and forms requested in my pocket 3 and every other evidence I had. (NOTE: the embassy do not accept the new DS-160 form- Just fill all the forms in packet 3 given by the embassy, again DO NOT print anything from the internet because they wont accept it)

30 mins later... read complete review

We arrived at the embassy well before 7:30, but they wouldn't let me in with my fiance so I sat on a rock across the street and bit my nails. My fiance paid his fee and handed in all of his forms and the evidence of our relationship. They took it all: proof of my trips to ghana, phone records, emails, my you tube videos, wedding invitation & website, copies of packages and letters, and pictures. we had very few pictures of us together in ghana, maybe six, and some were from the same event. But we had lots of skype phone records. I had everything paperclipped with post it notes on each section and a cover letter, but I don't know if that made any difference. They gave it all back later, I think maybe they photocopied it first.

So then Babs waited some more and they called him up to the interview window. this was an American man. he asked Babs to sign his name, asked if I was his wife or fiance, and then asked when we met, where we met, how we met. He asked when was the la... read complete review

Kingsley day started at 6:00 am heading to the Embassy of Ghana for his interview. He stated the line was very long. The security guard at the Embassy of Ghana started letting people in around 7:30am. They called Kingsley to the window @ 9:30am asking for his information and the money for the visa. Around 10:30am he was called for his interview by a white male officer, which was very nice to him. The officer asks Kingsley four questions, was I married before, do I have any kids, and their name and age, my address in the states, work history, and name of my employer.. The officer didn’t ask for our photos, they only wanted to see my phone bill. They try to bamboozle Kingsley with his answer to the questions ask by the officer. Everyone please stand firm with your answer, don’t change your answer. VISA APPROVED.

My fiance' said all in all the person he dealt with at the embassy was very nice. He asked him 4 questions--how did we meet, how many times have I come to Ghana, where was I working in Ghana, the name of my previous spouse, and the name of my current supervisor at work.He presented 2 folder files that contained emails, cell phone logs, pictures, affidavits of support from my parents, etc.

At the end he was presented with a blue paper and told to come back and pick up the visa on 11/12.
