My husband had an appointment for 8:30am on the 23rd and he went with all the necessary documents. He gave it to a lady at one window and waited to be called. He was caled by the Consular a little while later and he asked him questions based on my household. He asked who my mother (asked by her name) was, how many people are in my house, if they all work, and how much I'm currently making. He answered all the questions well by the consular denied him based on Section 212 (a) 4. That he would be a public charge. It was very stressful at that moment for everyone to believe this had actually happened. We later realized the conclusion on his denial was completely prejudiced and intend to fight it.

Pls how do I track my visa status online.
Is the receipt number the same as case no. on DS-260? If not how do I find it?
Got my visa approved today.
Thanks guys for your info but I didn't find it difficult as some put here. No call chat taken there. Just photographs, whatsapp chat samples and remittances receipts.

i went for my interview yesterday at the ghana embassy with my baby and got an approval hurray.
thanks so much for sharing your experiences and advice. very insightful. it help us a lot.
we are hoping our passport will be ready soon for pick up.

Approval!
On Jan. 22, 2018 my spouse had her interview at 7:30 in the morning. She did not say how long she waited but when she was called up. They took the necessary papers from her and asked her to sit again. When she was called back up, she was asked a few questions about me and our home. The questions included my full name, place of work, what I did, my age and the city where we will live. My spouse must have answered correctly (she had studied the paperwork for months now) and quickly for she was given an approval. They asked for her passport and gave her the information to pick it up. She received it on February 6th. I am looking for tickets now for I am to pick her up.
