I am writing this review on behalf of my husband.
Our interview was on 4/13. I went to the interview to attend but unfortunately the rules in ghana have changed, spouse is no longer allow in building. Before my husband when in building he asked the police officer if I could sit inside their security office because I wasn't from Ghana and wasn't familiar with my surroundings...officer said yes.
1) Two lines were formed around 7 am one for immigrant and one for non immigrant visa
2) Security Officer ask hubby for passport and interview letter
3) Husband went in around 7:30 came out around 11:30 (it took him about 4 hours)...the police officer said your husband is taking a long time that is a good sign...though we thought

I got approved at the American embassy accra...am so excited, thanks to God and vj members. I was one of the pea please who were rescheduled. I real interview was on Dec 2015 but I was rescheduled on Feb 2016.my appointment was 7:30am I arrived at the embassy around 6:30 and waited and latter we form a queue and latter by 7:30 we entered the embassy. I was called latter to submit my documents, I was called again to had my finger print. I sat down again and at long last my real interview.

Me answered
What work did your husband do?
Me..answered
Co..saw my daughter' cry and asked. .are u going with your daughter and do u had her passport already?

We prepared and put together all our documents. It was basically 3 things: Whatsapp screenshots, imessage printouts and photo albums.
Our wedding was a simple civil marriage ceremony in the judge's office with 10 people in total. No church wedding. No refreshments. No ayefro dondo bill to pay. Just 10 people in the judge's office including the judge and his secretary.
The consular's name was Maureen. I think this is the K.M. lady that other people have had so many bad experiences with.
She basically gave back all our evidence. She only kept the pictures that that had handwritten descriptions under them.
Then the questions followed:
How many brothers does your wife have?
How many sisters?
How many of them live at home?
Where does the dad work?
How long has he been working there?
How about the mom? Where does she work?
Are they still married?
