Medical
Fiance did the medical the day before the interview. It is best to do it then so that you can have your results and plus it is alot of running around to different offices. The doctor's (Dr. Meyers) office, the place to get the x-ray, the place to get your blood drawn. He returned that afternoon to get his results. The fee was 160 euro and not the 150 euro that was on the embassy letter. He also did his vaccinations earlier. (He did not have his vaccination records so took them all over again) You will need tetanus and MMR (ROR in French)

Interview
My fiance and I arrived at the Paris embassy at 12:40 for his 1 pm appointment. They do not allow anyone in until 1 pm. (All K-1/K-3 interviews are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 1) We went through security where they take your cell phone and return to you after your interview. There were not alot of people there on this day. My fiance went up to the window to ask a question as to where to go. T... read complete review

Dec. 7th, American Embassy in Paris,

VISA APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll get it next week in person at the Embassy.

They told me that there are some electronic device problems with editing
visas this week. I suggested to them that I could come in person to fetch it
instead of receiving it by mail.

The two people I talked to were very nice and helpful. The officer asked me
those 6 questions: "When did you meet your Fiancé?", "Was your Fiancé once
married?", "Does he have children?", "What job does he do?", "What do you
do?", "What job do you expect to do in the US?". While responding, he was
going through the paperwork and that was it. The interview only took 10
minutes and it took me 2 hours in all (mostly waiting to be called).

The interview was scheduled at 1pm. I arrived there at 12:15am to be early
enough. The guards told me th... read complete review

The waiting room looks a bit like a prison but the immigration officers are nice and helpful.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

I drove there, took me not really a long time to arrive in Paris, but once I entered Paris,to cross the Champs Elysees,it took me even longer to get to the parking. I arrived at the embassy at like 12:40 but anyways they didnt let us in till 1.There were a lot of ppl,it was very hot,and very noisy, a woman called the ppl who had an appointment for 1 to come to a counter. I did 1st,she took my paper and asked me to sit back and wait. Then I noticed all the other people who came behind me were being asked to go pay the visa fee, so i went back to the counter, because she didnt ask me anything, and she said for me it was diff cause it was for fiance visa, and i should have a money order, which I said I've never been asked for anything like that. She looked at my letter again, and she said it was cause the person who sent me the letter did it wrong. She explained to me I have to go to a post office 1st,and it was 85 only and not the 335 + 45 usd. First she took all my papers, she didnt even look a... read complete review
