Arrived at 12:40. Number 8. Long wait to give the papers (Around 2 hours... I was called the last one despite the fact that I didn't have the last number).
A little bit stressed because it was very difficult to get the exact required bank statement for the affidavit of support. Fortunately, I asked my fiancé to give me his taxes receipts. And finally, it was the only thing who interested the lady. (According to her, what is important is to proof the fiancé payed the taxes.)
Easy interview with the expected questions after another long wait. The officer was warm. Everything was ok. The interview went well!
Waiting time to receive the visa is around 2 weeks.
Happy it's over!

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Well i did not attend, but my husband did and he said that he entered and got his ticket waited for about 45 minutes. Then he got interviewed and the asked him, how we met?, what do i do for work?, Where we got Married?, when we got married? and the basic questions. We were told from the document on the website to bring the documents we had already submitted, but he said he saw all the documents that we had to submit from the beginning. Don't see the point of having us bring everything again. Any ways he finished and got approved for his visa. So it went well and we were very prepared.

Arrived at embassy 10 minutes before scheduled 13h interview. Waited for 45 minutes until they started to handle Immigration visas. Went to the woman (spoke French) then she handed us a bill and we went to another window to pay.

30 minutes later we were called up again to submit all of our documents. The woman was very nice and polite. My wife scanned her finger prints then we were told to have a seat and wait until called for the final interview.

1 hour later we were called up by a very friendly woman and she asked me not to say anything while she asked my wife the questions. They did the interview in French, then she said at the end: "congradulations, you will receive your visa in 7-10 days."

2 days later our visa arrived at 9h30

Over-all very easy experience, worst part was a few loud children in the waiting area. The vending machines were very usefull too!
