OMG ' I had the easiest time ever. The consular officer did not even ask us any questions. We deposited our papers, my fiancee took her fingerprints and we were called to window 25. The consular officer didn´t ask us for any evidence, he didnt even ask us any questions about our relationship. We were literally in and out of window 25 in 2 minutes. We prepared all weekend for this and thankfully it was easier than expected. Good luck to everyone.

Our interview was at 6:45am we arrived at 5:50am the line was already long. we got number 244, women and men were separated, I was in first and sat down on the infamous but now cushioned metal benches everyone talks about.. LOL. it was 7:03 by the time he was in, we were the 3rd couple called to window 22 where we handed in all forms (ds 230 part 1, ds 156, ds 157, police report, birth cert., photo, surprised that they only asked for one photo) they asked for the bank's receipt, he did not pay the $15, he was told by a teller that it wasn't necessary, I wanted to kill him but kept my cool, no worries she asked him to go pay it and bring the receipt to window 17, we waited on the benches a few to give the bank time to open at 8am, I stayed behind to wait for him, he called his brother who is the manager of the banco popular from one of the buscones cell phone (paid $50 pesos for 1 minute. there was a big line outside the bank, but they let him inside through the back door, thank to his ... read complete review

Well, all of you know the beginning of the story that is when you get there and make the line. While in the line, they asked us to have the interview letter in hand, so that they could give us a number. Then, they separated women and men to get inside. We got there like at 6:30am and our interview was at 6:45am. When I got inside, where they check your purse and stuff, they found out that I had a flash memory and a few 25 Dominican coins so because of that, I had to go back to the car to take the flash memory and the coins. Then, I had to get in the line again to get inside. When we got inside like 6 minutes later, they called our number which was 49 and they called us to window 16. In window 16, she asked us if we have kids and if we were marry and also she confirmed my address in the USA and phone number then, she asked us to give her the forms (DS-156K, DS-156,DS-230 PART I, DS-157, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, POLICE CERTIFICATE, BANK RECIEPT($15,$ 160), 2 2X2 PICTURES) and then she sent us ... read complete review

Hello all! Yesterday was our interview, I the USC. We stayed at Jardines del Teatro, very nice and conveniently close. We woke up at 5, took our time to get ready, left the hotel at 6 am. So the line was already pretty long. We got in at about 7 am. *Our appointment was for 7:30.* Our number was 035. At around 8, our number was called to window 20, to hand in police certificate and banco popular receipt, then sent to window 15 for fingerprint, and the lady says to go wait for the consular interview. So 8:15 we are back to our seats. Around 11 our number is on the screen to go to window 13, so as we walk there, it says Fraud Prevention Unit.. Ok weird... So we ask a security agent where to go since we got called to this window, he says to sit, then other people get in and out, still nothing, so after 30 minutes ask another agent and says to go knock on the door and ask, and we do, the man says, "what's your number", I reply 35, he says oh never mind it was mistake you may go back and wa... read complete review

Well where do I start it was an early morning for us at the consulate by 5:30 on line. we were let inside about 6:10 am found spot on the bench and sat until they called our number, we submitted the the forms and of course I have to just say that the night before my Fiance remebers that he had forgotten his police records hae had the paid receipt but with all the stress he claims he forgot on top of the fact that he as well did not go in sufficient time to get his medical so he had to wait until Monday morning for the results to turn them in on 01/14/2013. well anyway back to the interview like I said we submited the DS 156 etc and noticed that there was a green form that the guy who took our form was marking off I remeber someone saying that when they get a greene form meant that it was approved. we sat back down then they called us again to pay and a little bit afterwards to get the finger prints. Then we waited and waited until they called us to the interview window we both went in ... read complete review
