Hello all! Yesterday was our interview, I the USC. We stayed at Jardines del Teatro, very nice and conveniently close. We woke up at 5, took our time to get ready, left the hotel at 6 am. So the line was already pretty long. We got in at about 7 am. *Our appointment was for 7:30.* Our number was 035. At around 8, our number was called to window 20, to hand in police certificate and banco popular receipt, then sent to window 15 for fingerprint, and the lady says to go wait for the consular interview. So 8:15 we are back to our seats. Around 11 our number is on the screen to go to window 13, so as we walk there, it says Fraud Prevention Unit.. Ok weird... So we ask a security agent where to go since we got called to this window, he says to sit, then other people get in and out, still nothing, so after 30 minutes ask another agent and says to go knock on the door and ask, and we do, the man says, "what's your number", I reply 35, he says oh never mind it was mistake you may go back and wait for you number to be called.
Ok so that was frustrating but oh well. Went back, hungry, sleepy, getting a bit cranky. At 1 we are called to window 21, we get there, a spanish speaking lady swears us in, then asks:
When did u meet (to wife)?
How long have you been here (to wife) **She studies here
Do you currently have a visa? When was your last trip to the US (Jan, 2012) (wife)
What does your wife study ?
DId you have a big wedding? have pictures? **Showed a collage, more space efficient then many pix she was woowwed lol.
okk thank you she said.
After writing something on the computer, handed the expired passport to my wife and kept to new one. closed the folder and said " Felicidades, you were approved" handed us the green slip to go to Domex, we hugged, kissed, thanked her and left javascript:emoticon(' ')
All this only took 3 minutes, because at 1:10 we were checking out at the hotel!!
