This was a very difficult day. We were scheduled to go back the next day and then our visa was denied. Horrible experience. We were placed on administrative processing.

Ok here i go....
Our interview was on Monday July 15. i flew in to Santo Domingo 2 days prior to our cita (Saturday 13th)
The night before, we didnt sleep. my fiance said he didnt want to sleep for just get a couple of hours, so his crazy butt wanted to stay up and watch movies with his bro all night (but IIII KNEEEEEW it was just his nerves that werent gonna let him fall asleep lol)
I, on the other hand tried to fall asleep, but didnt. I kept reciting in my head over and over the answer to the question how we met for some reason lol.
3:00am finally came around and he thought he needed to wake me up but i was already with my eyes wide open! anyway, we started getting ready.
before we left the house, his mom and dad woke up and the 4 of us made a prayer to our wonderful Father. We asked for his blessing and that everything was in His hands!!
We left the house at 4:00am, by 4:15am we pulled up to the embassy (no traffic... read complete review

Well, the process went pretty smoothly, but I am submitting this for those of you who are concerned. We had an open interview for 6:45AM. We arrived at 4:30am and were the first in line! Thinking that that would mean we were serviced first....we were wrong! We weren't the only ones there at that time though, just the first to actually get in line. Anyways, by 5:30 the line was down the street. When they finally came to give us numbers, people started jumping the line, saying they were priority and they had these green letters. I was furious! I had been waiting for over two hours, only to find out that even though we were first, we wouldn't be seen first. We entered took our seat and waited. We watched as they called people who had clearly arrived after us...I thought, this would have never happened back home in the U.S. anyways, after about 45 minutes we were called up. I told the man there when he asked if we had kids that I was in fact pregnant and that's how we got the open intervi... read complete review

We left the house around 2:30am Monday Morning we had little sleep we had just gotten home Saturday afternoon from the hospital hubby had a motorcycle and broke his leg. The day started challenging because it was a long ride. We arrived at the consulate around 5am we saw the famous Buscones yelling. We needed a 2x2 pic we didn't have a chance to get so near the consulate a little van was taking pics we paid 600 pesos rip offs lol. We put my hubby in a wheelchair and were moved to the front of the line Thank God. About close to 7 they started handing out the numbers we were lucky #342. Went thru security and we found a spot right in the front. My poor hubby was so uncomfortable the whole time. We waited and waited and we were called to window #17 they asked my hubby his name and his parents name. they sent us to window #11 for fingerprints. This was a challenge to get the wheelchair up and down. we went sat down and waited some more we were called to Casilla #23.
To Hubb... read complete review

We arrived in Santo Domingo on Tuesday evening & stayed at Jardines del Teatro hotel across the street from the consulate, pretty nice hotel room. We arrived at the consulate around 7:20 on Wednesday morning, our interview was at 8:45. They immediately took our interview letter & gave us lucky # 105. The security line moved pretty quickly. Once inside we found a seat in the middle, by a fan, lol, & the wait began. At 9:35 they finally called us to window # 18 to turn in the police certificate, banco popular receipt, his Dominican passport, & they asked him to write his 2nd last name on his ds-230 application. They asked him if he has ever been to US, to both of us they asked if we had been married before & if we had children together, then to me they asked if I had moved since filing our petition. Then we were sent to window 15 for his fingerprints. We went back to our seats to wait some more. We watched lots of couples & families come out with their green slips. There was a consular o... read complete review
