We left the house around 2:30am Monday Morning we had little sleep we had just gotten home Saturday afternoon from the hospital hubby had a motorcycle and broke his leg. The day started challenging because it was a long ride. We arrived at the consulate around 5am we saw the famous Buscones yelling. We needed a 2x2 pic we didn't have a chance to get so near the consulate a little van was taking pics we paid 600 pesos rip offs lol. We put my hubby in a wheelchair and were moved to the front of the line Thank God. About close to 7 they started handing out the numbers we were lucky #342. Went thru security and we found a spot right in the front. My poor hubby was so uncomfortable the whole time. We waited and waited and we were called to window #17 they asked my hubby his name and his parents name. they sent us to window #11 for fingerprints. This was a challenge to get the wheelchair up and down. we went sat down and waited some more we were called to Casilla #23.

To Hubby:

What's your name?
Parents name?
What happened to your leg?
How did we meet?

To me:
Do you have pictures?
Ask me about three questions with the pictures?

She then asked us to take a seat we would be called.

Waited for about an hour or so and we hear our number called to Casilla #13 Fraud. Didn't know why we were going there but we went will all faith.

They asked me and hubby why we didn't change the interview date they saw my hubbys condition I put my hubbys wheelchair comforatble in the room and he told me to wait outside.

To Hubby:

When did you meet?
What did she wear last night?
What did you wear to sleep?
Who took a bath first?
Do you have relatives in the US?
When was the last time you were intimate?
What contraceptives do you use?
there were more but hubby couldn't remember sorry..

To me:
How did we meet?
What did I wear to sleep?
What did he wear?
Last time we were intimate?
Does he have relatives in the US?

That was it. Then he told us Im going to try and get you out as soon as possible I was thankful becuase he was nice and cool with us.

We went back down and sat and waited somemore we were called to Casilla number 23 I left my hubby downstairs and went alone he was not feeling well. She asked me again and asked if his injury is permanent I said no he is in a 3mth recovery at this time I saw the Green Ticket so excited. She had me have sign a paper I went down and told him OMG I think we are approved went back up she said the magic Congratulations go pay domex. I ran down gave hubby a big kiss with tears in my eyes and he was so happy.

Overall my experience was not bad just was unfortunate my husbands condition and the heat made it hard but thankful to god we were approved..All I can say is always be prepared because you never know they are always one step ahead. Good luck to future VJs in your interviews. Hope this is helpful to you.
