The first i have to say my apointment was for march 6th but they changed for may 27th but my boyfriend was here and he told me we didnt have anything to lose to go and see why they changed my appointment, well we stay at jardines del teatro hotel i took my baby with me that night i coildnt sleep anything i was nervous and jaden (my baby) was fussing all night well we got up 5:00am my boyfriend made so coffee and i got dress jaden we got there 5:45AM OH MY GOSH THERE WERE LIKE 150 on the line i was thinking we never gonna get in well we got in the long line jaden was fussing again and and i had to put a blanket in my chest and gave him some bobbies lol 6:30 they were letting people get inside i saw a guy with a list my heart was beating very fast i told my boyfriend SEE I TOLD U THEY HAVE A LIST, 2hen i was going to give him the letter he send me to another person she took the letter and gave me a number 187 my bf got inside first than me because he had the baby. Our k1 appointment was at 6:45am on Monday 3/3/14. We stayed at Jardines del Teatro which is less than half a block away. I recommend this hotel btw. It was cheap, clean and had excellent internet. The owner was very sweet. I will advise that neither she nor staff speak much english so have your DR fiance book the room and communicate if you do not speak much spanish. They are remodeling a lot of their rooms and showed us and let me tell you they are grade A hilton quality!.. very modern and stylish. Now back to the interview...
We arrived at like 4:45am and were about 20 ppl ahead of us in line. When you go in they take your interview appointment letter and staple a number to it and give you the other half of the number. then they call the people with the earliest appointment time first. Because of this I saw no point in getting there so early!! I did this because I saw all of the people on here saying to get there in the line early. First I want to give a bigggggg shout out and thanks to J.Urena26 and Mr,Tee12 . You both were so nice to me and answered all my questions . I couldnt have done this without you both. I also want to thank the Lord for being with us the whole time and making this process literally a breeze for us. From the moment I started the paper work until the visa was approved was only 6 months with 0 complications !
So here is the review.
Our interview was March 4 at 6:45am. He lives in San Fransico de Macoris about 2 hours away from the capital so we decided to stay at a hotel that came highly recommended here on VJ http://www.jardinesdelteatrord.com/ here is the link for their site. Its called Los jardines del Teatro. Its great because you can make a reservation online without having to put in a credit card or anything. Hey VJ !!! Im still in shock cant believe my hubby will be leaving with me soon !!! Im so excited I cant wait to bring him home with me and finally start our lives together, Well Ok heres the good stuff:
We are from Moca so we left hella early, We went to bed like around 7pm and woke up at 12am obviously we didn’t even sleep lol tossing and turing all night, so we left at about 1am literally got there at 2:30 we were the second ones there NO JOKE WATCH for the BUSCONES those freaks were there at that time telling us to go sit and wait at the gas station lol I wasn’t having that who knows what they really wanted from us. As time went people started arriving we were in line up until like 6:30 I believe, then we were separated women on one side and men on another, I advice females if u don’t really need it don’t bring a purse if u wanna get in right away. They gave us our ticket we were called like an hour later it really doesn’t matter at what time you get there they ca... read complete review
