We got to the consulate at about 5:40am (cita was at 6:45). Los buscones are outside, and they walk around as if they own the joint and tell you that if you don't have your papers stapled they won't take it. LIES! You don't need them. I saw they told a lot of people to form another line (don't listen), they ended up in the back cause when the actual employees came out separated the lines by time and type of visa. Needless to say, the people got mad.

Got through metal detectors fine. Got number 139. They started to call for the documents (it went by order). We were called to window 11, to submit the civil paper work (we were expedited). They asked stuff that was in the form i130, so make sure you review it. Then to window 1 for fingerprints. Then we sat down and waited... read complete review

Appt at 645. Asked only a few questions - where we met, how we met, when we got married, how long I lived where I do and if my wife ever been to the USA. Visa aprovada!!!! Total time took 2hrs!
Advice - bring a copy of your AOS I864, Receipts for AOS & IV Fee and DS 260 completion receipt. Bring a copy of your appt that the embassy emailed you.

Visa in hand!!! Had interview October 1st. Went very smooth. Only asked two questions. How we met and if our children played together. Thats it. Asked to see pictures of our trips. Nothing else. Had appointment 645 am. Out by 930 with approval!!! Yeah! Visa picked up today at domex. Can't wait for my honey to fly in. So excited and happy this is over. Had to wait 1 year and three months for this but sooooo worth it. The bad memories are only a dream. Good luck to everyone waiting.
