.The officer only ask him this question and than asked me the following.
ARE YOU AN AMERICAN CITIZEN?
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU VISITED HIM,I KNEW THIS WAS A TRICK BECAUSE I had informed them by letter that we stayed living together right away after meeting up in person so actually only visited him once , I didnt fall for it.
HE THAN ASKED ME IF I HAD DOMINICAN FAMILY MEMBERS?,I know the reason why he asked this question because I stayed living in a foreign country ,my answer was yes my parents and brothers are dominican.
ARE THE HERE OR IN US? My family is in US, this was another trick he wanted to see if they were living here that way they would need to investigate more to see if I was living with my fiance or not.
TELL ME YOU STORY? I hgave them the whole story how we met...
He smiled and asked if we brought any more photos we actually brought 2 photo albums one holds 300 photos devided from 2011 up to 2013 my fiance showed him all those, than... read complete review

Our interview was today, at 10:00 am, August 28, 2015. I couldn't sleep the night before thinking of all of the crazy stories that I heard from so many people. I thought that we were going to face the Devil at the embassy. Since I didn't sleep, I was just waiting for my husband and step-daughter to wake up, so we can get ready and on our way. We got there at 8:30 am, and there was a crazy line outside, which it wasn't as bad as I thought. Within minutes, they were moving people in, and we went to where we're supposed to go. When it came time to see the CO, a lady in her mid 40s, she was lovely. She made us feel very confortable, she swored us in, and asked the following questions;
1-when was your wedding?
2- how many times have you visited your husband?
3-where does your husband work?
4-how old is your step-daughter?
Then she turned to my step-daughter (who is a very precocious girl) and asked her, what do you want to be when you grow up?
It w... read complete review

Our visa appointment was originally from August 5th to August 19th javascript:emoticon(' '), after numerous calls and emails pleading for them to change the appointment date back to when we had it we received a final email stating that we had to keep that new date. This meant changing my flight for a closer date in order to be with the hubby for the interview. This was the only inconvenience we had with the US Embassy in Santo Domingo.
As for the interview in itself. IT WAS AWESOME javascript:emoticon(' ')!!! Seriously. We were scheduled for 7:00am and we were out before 9:00am. Here is our interview timeline:
3:00am - Wake up (We were driving from Santiago)
4:00am - Leave the house (Google GPS works great in DR)
6:00am - Arrive at the US Embassy in Santo Domingo
6:10am - We parked at a car wash place 3mins away from the Embassy ($20O)
(We had some time still, so I fixed my face a bit ... read complete review
