Our interview was today, at 10:00 am, August 28, 2015. I couldn't sleep the night before thinking of all of the crazy stories that I heard from so many people. I thought that we were going to face the Devil at the embassy. Since I didn't sleep, I was just waiting for my husband and step-daughter to wake up, so we can get ready and on our way. We got there at 8:30 am, and there was a crazy line outside, which it wasn't as bad as I thought. Within minutes, they were moving people in, and we went to where we're supposed to go. When it came time to see the CO, a lady in her mid 40s, she was lovely. She made us feel very confortable, she swored us in, and asked the following questions;
1-when was your wedding?
2- how many times have you visited your husband?
3-where does your husband work?
4-how old is your step-daughter?
Then she turned to my step-daughter (who is a very precocious girl) and asked her, what do you want to be when you grow up?
It was funny because my step-daughter said that she wanted to be a Biologist!
She laughed and said; How come? Then my step-daughter said; because I will be able help a lot animals that are endangered, and that if no one help them, they will disappear forever from the planet.. The CO then laughed very hard. She turned to us and said;
SUS VISAS HAN SIDO APROVADAS! I was so happy that I couldn't believe it. Still , I am in shock! I thought I was going to face the Devil, but it was the complete opposite. Good luck to everyone that is going through this incredible, and complicated process 😘😘😘😘
