Here goes my review: (interview was may 10th at 10am.)

We got there exactly at 10am...i know i know not good. But the traffic was horrible... when we got there we wnt thru the line quick because my husband is on crutches... anyways after that we went thru the security checks. Then to another building...in the other building when we went inside a lady asked for our appointment letter. Then handed us a number we were 278.. when we sat down it was by number 273. We waiting like 10 minutes then our number was called.. the lady asked for our names, and how im related to case, i said petitioner.. she asked for his updated police certificate, medical envelope and DS-260 confirmation. Then she gave us the thing to read about domestic violence..then said to sit down nd wait for our number to be called again... after that we waited about 20 more minutes. I went to play with my daughter nd my husband called me that our number was called...... this time it was guy who interview us..... read complete review

Our experience:

So, we stayed in a hotel the day before about 5 minutes away from the embassy. We really didn't want to drive so early and wanted to be safe! Hotel is called Micro Hotel & Condo Suites. It's good for the purpose of trip!

We really didn't sleep the night before. Our appointment was at 9am so we got up around 4:45am and got ready. We arrived around 5:45am. Hubby parked car near embassy for $250 pesos. Please BE AWARE: Near embassy, there are the infamous BUSCONES. They'll make you believe they are part of the embassy and "help" you get all of your papers assorted and blah blah blah. DONT FALL FOR IT. So many people were scammed.
Anywho, Everything is organized by lines with the time of your appointment. There was a huge line already for all the 7am appointment and a moderate one for 8am. We were the first one for 9am. The line for the family with kids was very long too. Around 6:30ish, a lady came out and started entering p... read complete review

The process was not long at all. We had an appt at 9 and were approved by 11:15. Traffic is horrible so please leave early for your appt. We were called to the window three different times. To review our documents then the interviewer herself to swear in then we went back for a few question that anyone who really loves each other will know and visa approved. Good luck

Interview was easier than I thought. Considering its my third petition in 8 years. My case was expedited at USCIS and NVC. We were given our number and waited for it to be called. We first handed all of our docs I1864 Marriage Certificate his Birth Certificate and Medicals. The lady who collected our documents asked us our address and how long we have been married. She sent us to pay our fee of $325 and we went back to hand her both receipts.. We sat back down and waited again. I was sooooo sleepy so I went outside and bought us coffee and a snack and right when I was about to sit down again we were called back up to the window where interview was held.
The nice American Lady asked the following to Me:
Do you speak English and Spanish? Yes
Where are you from that you speak Spanish: Dominican
How did you meet? Internet and my friend married his friend and we went to their wedding here in Mao
She took the pictures from my original app and saw my weddin... read complete review

First of all I want to say I want to thank everyone who updated their timeline and wrote down the process. It helped me out tremendously. So I'm going to help other people!

My appointment was at 9:00am we got there at 5:30am...the resident line had three line one for 7am 8am and 9am. Make sure you're in the correct line because I don't know what happens if you're in the wrong line. Me and my hubby realized we were in the wrong line and thankfully there wasn't a lot of people. Well they started checking people around 7:45am make sure you have your interview letter in hand. After the security check which we was together at no time did they separate us we went to the other building which they give you a ticket with a number. If you get lost there's people there to tell you where to go! Mines was lucky 213 they give you two ticket with the same number. Next you sit down and watch a screen for your number. There the lady asked us if we have kids and we both said no and then s... read complete review
