Arrived at 8:30am.. Interview was scheduled for 10am. Called for interview at 11:00am and our by 11:05am.
Questions asked:
State your names
How long have you been married?
When did you get married?
Who went?
Asked me for my mother in law's name
How long have we known eachother?
When did we decide to get together?
Asked me how often I travelled to DR since I was a kid
Do your families know eachother?
Are they from the same neighborhood?
Asked my husband where I work and what I do for work.
It was a great experience. No pressure!

had a great interview.. was in an out in 1 hour 25 minutes. most of the time was spent with the guys initially standing online waiting for 1st window to check in. we were at the window for 2 minutes. very nice man. then sitting for our number to be called. 7 minutes or less at that window. CO was very nice. she congratulated us with a smile. the best part we met 2 couples that were also approved and i feel will be life long friends.

Fellow VJ’s:
To begin I understand and know that my journey wasn’t a “normal time-frameâ€. From start to finish (129) days. My appointment with my husband and daughter was Friday, August 19, 2016 here in Santo Domingo & we are picking-up our passports, today Monday, August 22, 2016 with visas in them ready to go. We started this process April 2016.
In preparation of our interview I brought everything including the kitchen sink. I must have killed at least 4 trees with the amount of paper I had. In fact, most people in the line were only holding maybe a few pieces of paper or even maybe a small yellow interoffice envelope. People were staring at the fact I was hold 2 very large 3inch 3-ring binders.
There were 6 different lines, which people stood in according to what time you appointment was, if you had children, if you were handicap, or a resident of the US. The lines that were not for people that had children, wheelchairs, or res... read complete review

Best embassy ever!!!!!!
Arrived 1 hour before appointment everyone was very respectful.
Made american friends who were all approved with me.
CO was extremely respectful !
