My husband had his interview yesterday and he went alone since i am very pregnant and was unable to attend. Our case was an expedited case due to my pregnancy. His interview was at 7:00am. He arrived at about 5:30 am anf was out by 8:40am. He gave in documentation was asked to take a seat then went up for consular interview. He was asked 4 questions: who do i live with , why i could not attend , has he ever been in usa before and how many times did i travel in 2017. His visa was approved and issued today. That was su h a smooth proccess its really more the wait and the documents gathering than anything else. So excited for my hubby since he will be here foe my babyshower and the bith of our daughter. Good luck to all !

Interview went great, although medical examination records were to be sent by the physician's office direct to the embassy. The physical exam took place at least a month in advance of the visa interview, but upon arriving for the interview it was found that the embassy had not received the exam results. Apparently, this is a common issue in DR. After a few phone calls, discovered doctor's office had sent results and we just needed to wait a bit longer. Overall a positive experience, except for the confusion that resulted because of not knowing where the results were. They arrived a couple of days after the interview, and by week's end the visa was processed!

The interview was in February. Our interview time was at7:30am, but we got there around 5:30 or6am to try and avoid lines. There were already people lining up in front of the building. They have you line up in order and based on your reason for being there. This was the longest wait. Once they open the doors you go through security, pull a ticket and take a seat until they call your number.
It was really quick once we were called and had the actual interview. At most it took 5 minutes for us, but there were some people that were there way longer. I took a bunch of evidence to show, but they didnt ask for any of it. The questions they asked were how long we knew each other, what happened with my previous marriage, where we worked, and how we met. They approved him then, but wanted him to bring in a copy of his sons birth certificate so he did and he officially got approved two weeks later

We got there early around 5am. Interview took 5 minutes and was pretty much just a conversation about how we met, our wedding plans and we he planned to come to the US.

The wait was long. The consular office did not tell him he would need to pay a month in advance for his daughter to complete the interview. My fiancé went in at 7 am and finished at 230pm. All day ...
