My review is very detailed. I apologize for how long it is!

My husband and I practiced lots of questions for 4 days before the interview (although we are 100% legit i'm so glad we did this).  The night before we went to sleep around 11:30pm and I prepared our medium sized duffle bag full of evidence and copies of all documents sent to uscis and nvc. We also had a small shopping bag full of over 500 calling cards. Yes we were very prepared!!

We got up at 5:00am and had some coffee and were out the door by 5:45am. We arrived at the embassy around 5:55am. We didn't know where to park, so some random guy directed us to a parking sort of near the embassy and we parked there along with other people going to the embassy. The guy charged us 200 pesos for parking. We walked 2 minutes towards the embassy and there were already a ton of people in line. The buscones were around but all they offered was passport pictures, they weren't t... read complete review

Our interview was set at 6:45am (We were in the 1st group appointments to be called in). We arrived at 6:45am and there was a long line. We got in line and waited about 15 minutes, received a # and finally we got searched together and went in quick. We found an area to sit. We're both nervous but at the same time happy and simply praying to God that everything goes well. at about 30 minutes later after entering our # was called in to window 19, they asked my fiance for his forms (from packet4)then we were told to go ahead and pay for the interview at window 12 and to come right back. We returned to window 19 and then told to turn in a receipt. We sat down and waited another 45 minutes and called in to window 13 for fingerprints then sat down again. So at about another 45 minutes we were called in to window 22 for the interview. We hold hands and were asked to raise our right hand. I had a very good officer (black AA male). I was asked in english and my fiance in spanish at the same tim... read complete review

Review Topic: General Review

We woke up at 4:30 and started getting ready for the big day. We left the house at around 5:20 and arrived at the embassy at 5:45. We were greeted by the famous buscones and a very long line. My advice to everyone is to get in the line by the wall because it leads staright into the embassy. The embassy staff came out shortly after we arrived and started checking the interview letters for the time of your interview and he gives you a number if everything is fineand our number was 142. At the front of the line they took the interview letter and gave us back our number then they split the line by putting the men on the left and the women on the right. After getting through the long line and security around 6:50 we were greeted by the famously uncomfortable metal benches and the day began.

At 8:30 we were called to window 15 and was greeted by a very nice lady. We were asked to turn in my fiance's passport, cedula, police records, birth certificate, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157,... read complete review

He woke me up around 4am and we left his house at 5am we arrived at the consul around 5:30am and we were in a huge line that only got bigger by the min. These men in yellow came around asking for the blue apt letters and stapling a number on to it. Their where about 6 married couples and we were like the only fiances. (from what we figured.) we where slip into two lines one for girls and one for men in order to go in to the consul. by the time we were in it was 9am we sat down in the famous meddle benches (in which i thought was ganna be worse). we had number 017 and we were called up for the 1st time around 9:40am. we wen up to window 17 and gave the women everything she asked us for then we went and paid the $ 210.00 then went back to window 17 and gave the lady the recite. we went back and sat down. (somthing i think was very smart was to sit in the front right infront of the conslurs window, we didnt know it though cus we expected them to be different like in a room not a stand.) s... read complete review

We were the first to arrive at 3:45 am and around 6 :15 we were let in we sat on those hard metal benches til 8 when we was asked to turn in his DS forms. She explained the procedure for him to petition for his daughters and his next step on his Visa Journey. Around 10 he was called to do his fingerprints then we sat back down til 12 where we were called to do our interview at window 22 a young African American female where she first asked how and where we met, did I have any criminal history I answered then she asked to see pictures. Which we gave her and she glanced at a few and past fhem right back she then asked if he was still with his ex when we met and vice versa, she asked why when I applied for my new passport in "09" I stated I was single when I was actually still married I then answered her and after that she told us to have a seat. 2 hours later at 2 pm we were called to window 11 the investigation room where they called mi negro in first and questioned him for about 15 mi... read complete review
