Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husbands interview was for 8:00am, he got there at 7:30 when in on time. They asked him for his passport, the letter with the appointment and the pictures. He was also asked if he was giving one in his family parole and he gave them those forms as well. Was asked to sit down and 15 minutes later he was called in. He was greeted by this lady who asked him how we met. He told him it was through his causin on the internet. So she asked him to tell her the whole story and as he was telling her, she stopped him and said; your visa has been approved. The interview if you want to call it like that lasted about 20 minutes. He was told to come back on the following day to pick up his visa at 2:30pm. So he did and already started with the remaining paperwork that needs to be done in cuba to be able to leave.

They only asked him for the pictures, his passport and they asked him how we met. And while he was telling them our story, they told him you are approved. That was it. It only took him not even 30 minutes.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiancé got to the US Interest Section at 6:30AM. Around 7:30AM he was already inside the building and they asked him for his Passport and his name was written on the long list. Then he sat down and had to wait like 5 hours before he was called. He told me that many people were denied so became nervous. Around 1:00PM he was called and he was interviewed by a woman. He said she started reading the whole file and her expression on her face showed that everything was perfect. She was very friendly and very very nice. He said she asked him about 20 questions. The interview last 20 minutes and at the end she said to him "Your case has been approved and Welcome to the United States. Come back tomorrow to pick up your visa". He said all loud THANK YOU GOD !!! and she looked at him and smiled.

He already picked up his visa so right now he will have to go and get the Carta Blanca and in less than a month he will arrive to the United States of America !!!!.

Excellent service (considering how weird the situation is, this is not a US Embassy or building) don't expect to get there early and leave early. BE THERE EARLY (650AMish)and wait for your name to be called and they will assign you a name aftewards. If they don't call your name DONT WORRY just ask the guy what's going on AFTER he is done calling names. wait, wait and wait some more and the line will move (they have sitting for over 80 people inside) do yourself a favor and eat before, don't bring food inside..makes things easier. If you happen to be in Habana and want to go with your fiance(e) bring your passport (from my experience, THEY DONT CARE OR ASK HOW IT IS THAT YOU GOT TO CUBA) don't forget to bring your 131 USD or 121 CUC, if you want dont change your money outside, instead bring your USD to the interview that way you dont get ripped off exchaging the money outside (.92 vs .80....you do the math and no they dont exchange money inside, they just don't rip you off if you pay in... read complete review
