I'm rating this as described by my fiancee to me:

He said that the security was rude and extremely standoff-ish.

We prepared a binder of information, which was apparently too much effort. lol. He was told he provided more than enough information in his packet 3.

The interview was taken at a booth window (as he described it). Pretty easy questions. How did we meet, when did we meet, plans, he was asked why my skype handle is (weird question i.m.o), and some other random questions about our relationship that would've been sent in the petition.

Sounds like it was pretty easy. He handed the guy who conducted the interview his passport, which they said would be mailed the next day.

Great experience, they only took my fingerprints, passport and my money :D
Consul asked how we met and asked for no evidence of relationship ! All the docs i brought were there for nothing, but in case he did ask i would have everything.
We laughed a little bit cause of how my fiancee and I met...few other questions
and that was it, i was done in 10 minutes !
My visa will arrive on Monday !

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I've had a very good experience during my interview for a CR1 visa in the US Embassy in Zagreb (Croatia).
Since our case has been expedited because of my pregnancy, the NVC has sent all of our paperwork to USEM in Zagreb. I've emailed the embassy 2 days after that and they told me to schedule my medical first and then let them know when will I have the results. I've called the doctor right away and he told me to get there on Monday, 26th of July and that I'll have my results within 24 hours.
I've emailed the embassy letting them know about my medical and got an immediate answer to come to the interview on Tuesday, 27th of July at 10.30 am.
Everything was happening so fast that I didn't even have enough time to think.
So, I spent 2 days in Zagreb in my friend's apartment. Medical went well, had results in hand next day before my interview.
I was in front of the US Embassy around 10.20, the guard let me in right away... and after going through control t... read complete review

Only compliments to Consulate in Zagreb. My interview was scheduled for 10:00AM and I came 20 min. earlier, gave my fingerprints and then wait for the interview.
I heard my name and went in the front of the first window where the Consul was. We started to talk on Croatian and he asked me if we can talk on English and I confirmed. We talked on English till the end of the interview. The consul was very polite and cozy and we talked about 30 min. He asked me where and when I met my fiance, how old is he, what is his job, did I visit him in the US, did I see his family...he didn't ask me for any evidence of our relationship and at the end he wished me a nice life with my future husband and said: Welcome to the US! I was so happy and rushed to call my fiance to let him know that I passed the interview and I will get my visa for a few days.
