Appointment is at 7:00AM but I got there with my fiance at 6:45AM and they were starting to let people in and we were pretty far back in the line already.
Took awhile to get to the security room and it was cold outside in line, seems like they were letting other visa types in first, and K-1 and CR-1 were last.

Because we got there earlier, we got to be one of the first ones to get in. But, since they let people in accordign to the interview time, you'd get in if you cant make it early like we did. Once we got in, there was a first checkin point with some ladies going through the documents and making sure you were in the list for that day. Then we went through an airport security style check point. They went through my purse and did body scan. It is suggested that you don't take any unnecessary items (make up, laptops, etc.) to make the process faster. We only took our folder with our documents and my purse with a pen, my glasses and our passports. Once inside the embassy, a guy reviewed our docu... read complete review
