We went to the our interview on Sept 3 2010. Once we got out of the cab we walked to the enterance where they have lines that were number between 1 and 4. Once they confirm that we had a letter we were allowed inside and went thru Security. Like everyone says it is an open areaso make sure that you bring clothes that will keep you warm! We were lead to the immgration visa lines and a Colombian woman made sure we had all the forms. Once she confirm Ginna and I were advised to go and wait by the windows to be called. After about 30 minutes Ginna was called to window 29 and they went over the forms again. She came back becuase I forgot to sign one of the forms!!! After I signed we were advisd to go back to where we were first in line and wait to be called... Here is were the hard begins!! We arrived in at the embassy at 7:00AM and were not called in till 1:30 PM, we were the 3rd to last couple called. As a Nicaraguan who just became a citizen 2 years ago I can say that it was hard to see ... read complete review

My fiancee and I arrived for our interview at 7:10a.m. on Friday August 20th. I was so worried about being 10 minutes late but it didn't matter. The first thing you do is put your documents in order, which we had already done. Then you go to windows 29-32 and wait for someone to make sure you have all your documents. Then they sent us to windows 1-5. We went to the window and the consulate said everything looked good and she didn't have any questions and said we were APPROVED! We are so excited and thank God for answering our prayers!!!

We arrived at 06:30 outside of embassy and instructed to wait on line 3. They walked the line and reviewed our documents and told us where to wait once inside. We were given a folder with instructions of what documents to put inside. Follow the instructions, don't put in anything more than they instruct. However, have all of your extra evidence of relationship, financial support, etc., available if needed. We then went and waited for a more detailed document check as well as some questions- this was done by a Colombian. After this we went to wait in another area where we were called for the final interview which is given by an American. I, the USC petitioner was asked questions. My fiancee was not asked any questions. The American Consulate Official said you are approved! The questions are based on the paperwork which you submitted on the initial I-129F as well as the package you sent to the consulate and the DS-156/DS-156K. All took less than 3 1/2 hours. It was a good and positive exp... read complete review

Our interview was Thursday August 12. My fiance and I arrived at the embassy around 6:30 am. I knew we had to get in line 3 from reading reviews from the website, so that's what we did. While we were in line we began hearing a lady through a speakerphone explaining the line process. After that we got green stickers i guess green stickers are for k1 visas. we were asked to show the appointment letter and passport, I showed my passport as well. A Domesa representative gave us a form to fill out. We were told to go to section 40. there was a lady in a booth with folders (very nice lady). she explained to us that inside the folder was a checklist of the things we had to put inside. We sat down to organize everything and then we had to go back to the lady in the booth and she checked the folder and told us to proceed to the section by Domesa window 30,31,32 (i think those were the windows). a lady there called my fiance to window 31, she was colombian (a little rude)we thought that was the ... read complete review
