We were very prepared. Questions focused on info from I-297. Copious amounts of photos and proof of time together and relationship brought. Wedding rings presented.

The interview was pretty easy, also because many people were out of Bogota because vacations of the end of the year, the traffic was perfect, no rush, no much time waiting inside the embassy offices. The whole thing took just 2 hours. During the interview, they canceled my B2 tourist visa and never asked me for extra documents except a police background check from my trip to Argentina back in 2012 (I was ther for 6+ months). He said "your visa was approved", but, only if I send to them those extra documents. It took me 20+ days and extra $200 usd to have the police background from Argentina. And they just asked me to email them the documents in a pdf file. After that in just 4 days I received the notification via email, to go to DHL office to get my brand new Visa K1! Good luck for every one, and this is just a guide, because every case is pretty special and different.

Really nice Dr Dennys. It took 3 ours for the test results but I knew that. Photo and fingerprints really fast. At the embassy everyone friendly and nice and 3 hours later I was approved. One week later I got my visa!!!

We showed up at 6:10 AM, there were 4 people ahead of us. At 06:30 they called immigrant applicants only to line # 3 at a security shack where they check passport, 2 passport photos marked in the back with applicant's name and Interview Letter, security check with body scanner the the guard directed us to continue to a large patio covered by a very toll roof, dress for cold windy weather because there is no walls. There are a bunch of ladies dressed in black, wearing blue jackets that will guide different groups of people.
The one for immigrants directed us to sit near windows 31 to 36, verified my wife's name and interview date and gave my wife a ticket number.
10 minutes later my wife was called to window 31, a real nice blond lady asked my wife for the passport, the two passport pictures and the police certificate. She put the pictures inside a small plastic zip lock bag and stapled the bag to the police certificate and send us to another wait area in the same patio be... read complete review

My wife went today for her interview, ADMIN PROCESSING? The lady did not give her an answer one way or the other concerning a final determination. However she did keep her passport and told her she would receive DHL in 10 to 14 days?
Vague as to what was going on, my wife did get a piece of paper with web address to follow up online with the status.
