I arrived to the emabssy early amt they let me in, a girl walked me to a table, she asked me to organize my documents as listed in a sticker on top of the table, after I went inside and I walked to another table (immigrant visas) another girl checked the documents again and then waited for about 2 minutes to be called in the first window, an officer checked my docs again and asked me if I lived in another country before, then she updated my email and gave me the documents in order and a card with a turn number. Moved to the waiting side for immigration process (it was about 15 min after I arrived). Then I waited for a long time, about an hour and a half, finally got called, the officer received my documents and she asked me to wait while she reviewed my case, she took a binder with our case (all the documents we sent with the I-129f) then she asked me to take the phone again, then she asked a few questions:
Who's your pettioner?
When did you met?
When was the last... read complete review

My wife tells me that they arrived at before her schedule time that was at 7AM she had all the documents ready a woman came looked through the documents before they went inside. Placed little green stickers on her documents and on her. Then went inside through security. Waited in a room that had 4 windows numbered 1-4 , they waited about 30 minutes then called to window 4 . A serious looking woman was there barely looking at my wife and girls. The woman had our file began to examine the paperwork and asked a few questions. How we met, when we met, when we got married, how many times I came to visit and what I did for a living.
Then said congratulations you're approved.
The visa will arrive via DHL in Santa Marta. She gave my wife instructions for paying for the immigration fee and thay was all.
The embassy woman did not say when the visas should arrive
.
Good luck everyone with your journey.

For k1 visas they let people in no matter what time your appointment is so Id suggest to go there as early as you can. Once there they check your documents and then you have to wait to be interviewed. Here are the questions they asked me
Who is petitioning you?
Where does he live?
How long has he been living there?
What does he do for a living?
How did you meet?
How did he propose to you?
Did you pick a wedding dress yet?
How do you communicate?
There were some extra questions because I was an au pair before. So she asked me how long the program was, the name of the family I stayed with and if I went back to the US after the program
Everything went smoothly. Good luck!
