The following is a review provided by my Fiance "Yessica" who had the interview

English:

Initially I had my appointment scheduled at 7:30 am on Friday, February 2, it is recommended to arrive one hour before the interview time and I did so, by means of a horn and with the help of the police they call the people of their respective appointments. When I heard the call I got in line, there are two rows, row one is for resident visas and K1, the second row is for tourist visas, student, work, etc.
At the end of the row I entered the filter number 1 where they turn off all cell phones, you can not talk, record or take pictures, besides that they organized me the main documents, followed by that I went through the metal detector, they made me withdraw my jacket and metal items and also pass the belongings by a suitcase scanner, then I went to filter number 2 they went back to review my documents, then I went to filter number 3 where a man through a window... read complete review

We had our interview at 9am but arrived early after reading all the other stories. Sure enough they did not have any people waiting and as you showed up they started you on your process. It was a beautiful day so rain and cold weather wasn't a problem but the waiting area is outside so it could get cold and or rain on you. The first part is walking up to a lady close to the street and she advises you to go to the line 3 (we were very lucky and no one was in line. we have read that these lines can get very long) A nice man came and asked for her Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Medial Results, Police Record, Two photos and passport. He checked to make sure we had them and then gave them back and placed a green sticker on both of us and told us to move forward. We waited about 20 minutes and then were called to a window that we spoke to a lady through glass and using a phone. She was the nicest lady and basically reviewed the files that we organized with the first man. She gave u... read complete review

My fiance had his interview this morning. A very fast interview though my fiance said it was a little tense after arriving at the embassy (it is really cold in Bogota too) all the way through the process of seeing the official who conducted the interview. He said it was a small Asian women who spoke Spanish and was very serious with her questions such as: how did you meet? How come you asked her to marry you after only 4 months? And she asked to see pictures of my trips there which after my fiance handed them to her and she looked at them, she replied if those were the only pictures he had and it's a good thing I sent my fiance a copy of our original I 129 application and in there were more pictures. She was satisfied with the pictures. She asked why if I live in the US do I speak Spanish? My fiance replied that i was also colombian from my mother's side and then she asked if I had family in Colombia which he said yes. She asked why he wants to marry me? He told her and her response w... read complete review
