Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

my husband called me this morning his visa is approved .he told me it only took 5 minutes
and his interview is done , the officer only asked him : what is my job ,
when did we met & our daughter . before the guy asked him those questions
he already seen his papers "approved" on top of the desk. so far according
to my husband the consular officer was nice. no need to worry for those
who will have their interview , it's just a waste of time . thank
you for all who had given their reviews , i'd been updating my husband
about it and it did help him to go through this process . thank you for
the VJ family , it's been informative.
ps : aside from the interview he has his fingerprint done & submitted expresspost mail I can't remember what window. they will mail the envelope
to my husband probably ... read complete review

Fast and easy if you know what to do from this site. Interview was straightforward, didn't even ask to see more photos or updated letter of intent. Five minute interview and then done!

10:29 finish waiting around for a cashier to appear to pay my fee and hop the elevator down to the lobby (caution where ya come in and where ya exit is in totally different parts of the building.)
10:35 back to security after getting new pics taken, and having a smoke since I had the chance.

Review Topic: K3 Visa

Interview was scheduled for March 19th at 10 a.m.

Got to the consulate at 9:30 a.m. and the entrance is sort of hidden along the side of a building. I was expecting a big U.S. flag but there wasn't any. There was a line up there with visa appointment times so we stood in the 10 a.m. line since there was no security guard outside yet. When she came out she asked if anyone was there for K visas and she fast tracked us.

First security checkpoint they looked at the interview date letter, looked through the accordian folder and then was told to go upstairs. One flight of stairs and there was another security guard who looked at the letter (initialed by the first checkpoint), let us in the elevator and used her security to get us to the 20th floor.

At the 20th floor there was another checkpoint and they went through everything again and then we were led to the "K" section that is to the left of the waiting room. The K section consisted of 4 blue ... read complete review
