Review Topic: K1 Visa

My k1 Visa interview was October 4 2017 at 730am
I was #1 in line as i got there early. They line everyone up to the left of the door and do go by appointment times but there may be a few appointments with the same time so within those people you will want to be first.

I got there around 630 because i wanted to be first. My sister got us starbucks as it is across the street and we waited. When the doors opened mt sister left with the starbucks as there is no food or drinks allowed inside. The door also shows no bags and brief cases. I stored my papers in a fabric shopping bag and that was not an issue. Everything does need to fit in through security so do not bring anything larger than a standaŕd bag size.

Someone came for their appointment after me (they were 745) and around 7 to 715 tons of people started to come line up and crowd the doors.

The uscis security said line up to the left side so make sure youre first in line on tha... read complete review

Totally 1hr and 30 min from walk-in to walk-out. Appt time is 8am, arrived at 750am. No wait time between document submission and actual interview. Documents requested but not on the sheet is a copy of previous passport. In addition to 134 and tax they also wanted original employment letter, recent three pay slips, and recent three months of bank statements. Good luck everyone! I would recommend to have a latest possible appointment time and don't show up too much earlier. Then you may have a better sleep and not to rush for breakfast. People before me had to wait for 5-10 mins between document submission and actual interview.

Had my interview Wednesday at 8 am, but got there around 7:30. I stayed at a hotel called Trylon, and it was a 15 min walk/8$ uber ride. There was a line up of about 8 people ahead of us, of which were there for 7:30 interviews, and the security guard only took those for 7:30am a few min before 7:30. Those of us who had 8 am interviews got let in a few mins before 8 am.

I don't need to repeat the process as it is exactly how many users have described and been very detailed about; checking in, security, going upstairs, being called to the first booth, being called to the 2nd booth.

There was less than 14 of us during the 8 am interview slot, and we did not spend too much time inside the consulate, we were out by 9am!

Only 3 people were working the first windows you are called up to to hand in your documents, and 2 people doing the interviews.

I got called to the first window #1 and she asked for:
