Had my interview today in the morning. It's really more like first come, first serve so get there early.
I can't recall in my documentation where they required the original AOS but so glad I did bring it.
Only thing that weighed on my mind was the intent to establish domicile from Canada but thankfully, I was able to with proof of my current home in Canada being sold and the purchase contract and completion date of my new home built.
That was key I think.

Appointment at 7:30 AM. Arrived around 7:15 AM, There was one couple ahead of us. They let one couple in at a time, she checked for the appointment and if you paid for your visa yet and gave us a checklist of items we should put together. then we went through the security line, had to take off jackets and empty pockets. left our key and cellphone at the front and was given a ticket. Then we went downstairs while we waited, we put our papers together that was on the checklist then the officer told all of us to take the elevator to the 16th floor. When our number got called, I went up and he took my passport and medical exam. then the rest of the papers that were on the checklist while he assembled the package. I sat back down once he was done and waited to be called for the interview. Within 5 minutes, I was called again and she made me swear an oath and asked me several questions.

You could easily miss the building if you did not know where to look. Service staff were friendly, and even engaged in small talk. Once inside and cleared security, the wait time was not a factor in any of the proceedings. First person I spoke to was very straight-forward and thorough. Second person who conducted the proper interview was kind, joyvial and really cared about everyone interviewing. In the seating/waiting area, everyone that was there were rooting for each other to pass and offered applause as successful applicants exited.

Long wait, however, staff were super friendly and nice to me. Interview was informal and the interviewer was very down to earth. I over prepared for the interview and he asked very simple questions, which was a relief, as I was very nervous.
