Appointment time : 9:45am
-Arrived at 9:43 , officer came out asked if I had an appointment to which I responded yes 9:45am. He asked for my name and to see my passport. After verifying I was on the list and that my passport matched the name they had listed I was asked to proceed inside , sanitize my hand and remove my jacket hat etc (airport security style) . Officers were very professional, I was asked to turn off my cellphone place it in a locker and hold on to the key. After I got my coat and documents and was instructed to take the elevator to floor 1 and go to window 6.
- once I got to floor one window six was straight ahead and on my left . I stood there for about 5-7 mins waiting for someone to come. The gentleman came and took my passport, handed me a ticket and told me to have a seat and watch for my number on screen. With covid and everything was socially distanced and the room was dead silent. The clock is broken and stuck on 4:30pm so I had no real semblance... read complete review

Details on Jan-13's interview at 8:45am:
I arrived at 8:40am and the security officer asked for my name and time of interview. He did not ask for the IL since he had a list of individual names and times with him.
He let me in and I went through security clearance (similar to the airport). I only had a binder for my docs (no bag) and did not bring any cell phone with me.
I was asked to use the hand sanitizer dispenser, take the elevator and go to 1st floor - window #6. At the window, an officer only asked for my passport. I gave my passport and was told to sit down and wait for my name to be called.
Please note that the room is Covid friendly and individuals are spaced out accordingly. Masks must be worn at all time (I was never asked to remove it even during the interview). There is one security guard on-site. There are 2 bathrooms, a water fountain and one hand sanitizer dispenser near the security guard. No vending machines... read complete review

My experience at the consulate was very smooth, I got in at 9:30am and was out by 10:30am. Just dress up warm and arrive about 10-15 mins before your interview time, since one lady's interview time said something on the letter vs what the guards had (earlier time). So better to arrive at least 15 mins ahead as it seemed like they would call you at 15 mins interval.
Also, everyone was professional, but it was hard to hear the security people with masks on. So when I went upstairs, I thought they told me to go to window #7, but I had to clarify with the lady upstairs. At the window, I waited about 10-15 mins and they finally took my passport because it seemed a bit confusing as the staff inside the glass walls only took your passport when they had some free-time in between whatever they were doing. After they took your passport, finally they call your name and from here on out everything seems straightforward like other people have mentioned. You just have to show up at d... read complete review
