No complaints to be honest, I thought the staff was friendly and the officer was pleasant to speak to.

My appointment was for 8:15 and I arrived just after 8. There was a line outside and they were calling everyone in one at a time. Most people there had their appointment times after me, so I moved ahead of them to the front of the line. There's no indication on the outside of where the consulate is, just a logo on the glass door inside. I walked by the day before to make sure I knew where to go.
After being let into the building they asked me if I was fully compliant with COVID protocols, checked my passport, gave me my number, had me turn off my phone, and ran me through airport-like security. I put my phone in the small locker and went up to the first floor.
I waited just over an hour for my number to be called the first time. They took all my original documents and one photo, then verified our addresses and phone numbers for both my husband and I. I had my interview at the consulate in March 2022. I got there about 5 minutes before my appointment time and I was expecting a line there, but to my confusion and surprise, there was no line! I entered through the doors totally missing where the consulate doors were lol but as I waited outside it I was greeted by one of the guards and was told to wait there. It looks as though they only want 1 family/1 person going through the security process at a time. About 3 minutes later, I was told to come inside. I had a small cross-body bag with me and a binder with all my documents (I actually put this binder in a laptop sleeve as protection for nothing to fall out lol). There was a person before the security belt that asked for my passport, they checked my name off the list and printed out two receipts with the same number on them. I was told to shut off my phone.
