Got there at 7:30/7:45am for 8am appointment.

Maybe 5 people in line in front of us. Went with my petitioner.

Waited till about 10 got called to 1st window. Gave the letter of intent, photographs, i-134, police and birth certificates. Took about 15 minutes. Waited about another 5 minutes or so then got 2nd interview.

I was asked a few basic questions, then told I was approved.

Out by 10:30.

No idea about the order, we were C16 and they called people who came after us before we got there.

Overall was expecting it to be much worse. Approved!!!

It was a breeze.
In and out in 35 minutes.
We were first in line. Had all the paperwork ready.
The interviewer asked 3 questions
-how we met
-if we had kids
- if it was both our 1st marriage

And thats it. Approved!

Good luck to all

Just like many before us had said. The staff at the Montreal Consulate were very friendly, patient and nice. All of the window people were very nice. You end up going to 3 windows once you go up the elevator.

1st window - is where you get your number for the second window.
2nd window - is where you provide the additional documents they ask you to bring for packet 4
3rd window - is where they ask you a few and I mean a few questions, how you met? what next?, and then what happened ... ? Basically asking the progression of the relationship timeline. And this is were they tell you if you are approved.

You wait between each window. Hope this helps

Review Topic: General Review

Had my interview yesterday morning. Arrived at 6:50am. Two other couples were ahead of me. We were let in at 7:30am. Security was similar to the airport. The security staff were efficient. Every thing went as described in previous reviews, smooth and efficient. Was out within an hour. 50 minutes of waiting and 10 minutes of interaction. I'm pleased to have come to the end of my journey but I'm still dumb founded when I think about how vague the whole process was and the amount of time it's taken. After 10 months I finally get to move into a home that I've owned for 10 months and never seen. I get to wake up with my family next to me. All the best to everyone at VJ. The sight gave me sanity when I thought I was losing my mind.

No problems! Got there 20 minutes early. Waited until 8am when they sent the group up in the elevator. Be sure to see the cashier for your ticket number before doing anything else!!! Very friendly. Total time 45 minutes.
